Great CD, veryvary hard to find! with Inhit The Wind and One Shot Away... very great! in the same style of Alleycat Scratch and Guns n`Roses. Sleaze Rock kick ass! If you like it, listen BIG BANG BABIES, LOVEBURGER, EROTIC SUICIDE and TATOOED SLIPPERED! |

This was their most commercial album, but that's not a bad thing. "Let Me Go" and "Good Goodbye" are my favorites. |

Just about every group spawned form L.A.(Guns N' Roses) has opened, at one time or another, a TSOL gig! Why? I like to think it's cause TSOL consistently Kicked Ass! "Strange Love" is genuine, gritty rock n' roll-basic in yo' face shit... Joe Wood's powerful voice is an added commodity to an already strong outfit that's seen it's share of ups and Basements(downs). When they kill, TSOL kill hard. Songs like "Candy',"Angel", "White Lightning", "(Stop Me) at The Edge" are stomping Rock N' Roll! |

Hell On Earth" and -what every self respecting rock album dosen't need - is a raise your fist biker anthem titled "In The Wind" drag this baby down from Cool Shit to Could've Shit! Overall "Strange Love" is a very healthy and recommendable album!!! That's cause after a few spins the weaker tracks start growing on ya!!! Kinda like the creeper weed!!! A much more wiser TSOL than their Punk days!!! Don't get me wrong I love TSOL, punk or not and I am a Biker!!!9 out of 10. |

Awesome! What happened to these guys? |
From: Gar | Date: May 23, 2003 at 8:04 |
This lineup broke up not long after this album was released. They continued to tour for a while with a new bassist and guitarist and were supposed to have a new album out by the mid 90's. This never materialized. However, their original "punk" lineup regrouped and put out the album DISAPPEAR a couple of years back. |

Who knows who's "listening" - but who cares. Do a search on "TSOL/Strange Love" and you'll get a gang of "punks" telling you this is the shittiest T.S.O.L. album. On this rock site of course they fared better. Guess it all comes down to opinion, here's mine: Commercial or not, this album kicks fuckin ass, here's why: Basically, all songs pull fan in with VERY strong hooks/riffs - Composed well/produced well. And face it kids: Joe Wood's vocals shred. Voice/style: powerful weapon indeed. kt |

'in the wind' is my favorite song on this album..i know it ain't the 'true' tsol, but whatever, this is cool rock n roll, sleazy and loud like circus of power and guns n roses.. |

Solid sleazy hard rock from start to the finishing sing-along choruses of 'Good Goodbye'. 9.5/10. |

After a second spin in my whole life i must admit that this album is pretty good but not that "worth a million box" i wrote back in 2006 ...anyway if you want good songs then we have the rocky ones "Hell On Earth","White Lightning","Blow By Blow","Candy" and my fave one "Stop Me At The Edge"...a couple of coolies can be found too "Strange Love" & "Good Goodbye"...not a 100 out of 100 but more accurate is 88/100..so i change my rating...by the way happy new year to all the HH crew (Dan!!!..thanks a lot 4 creating this site ) and all the guys who have commented on this site..your knowledgement is awesome!!!... |

excellent release for TSOL being a hard rock band instead of punk and i guess that if Strange Love made it commercially that would be permanent!great sleazy sound, rough but catchy creating a certain groove along with that marvelous artwork!loved it back in the day and still do!"angel","white lightning","one shot away " are the highlights |
