Two of Westcoasts most respected session players together on one album & a very classy one it is too. It features a mixture of styles from the Toto inspired 'Hellavator Music' & 'Sirens' to more of a Fusion/Jazz sound. The album showcases both Denander's more Steve Lukather based sound & Gaitsch's more laid back subtle approach which both work extremely well together, check out 'Falcon's Grove' for a good example. This loses a couple of marks for the programmed rhythm section, otherwise excellent. |
