Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

These guys cranked up the power on this release. Some will like it, some won't. For me, it was a half and half album. But, the half that was good absolutely jammed. Not your typical release, but still good. |

ANOTHER COOL COVER!!! |
From: Patrik Ek | Date: June 6, 2002 at 4:03 |
Where did they go? Guess they play covers in some bar... but I really like the Berzerk album! Cheers, Patrik Ek, Sweden |

The problem with Tigertailz was they did too much too soon, Wazbones was a good album (i like 'Dirty Needles') they lost alot of fans after Stevie Jaimz left cos they lost their rawness and they were always searching to find it again but didnt happen. Not bad for a bunch of lads from Wales though eh?? |

To answer your question Patrik Ek, Bassist Pepsi Tate, or as I know him - Justin - is a freelance Video Editor. He's earning probably more in this proffesion than he would've have in the band! |

Tienes toda la razon MALLORCA. I prefer the old TIGERTAILZ ALBUMES and the 12'maxis with METALLICA and MEGADETH covers. Cool looks, and cool GLAM METAL. One of the best U.K BANDS from the late 80s. |

any ideas where i can get the jap copy of wasbones in uk also u looking at me.cheers go bezerk |

The Wazbones Jap album keeps cropping up on ebay but it aint cheap, usually goes for around £30 to £35. I do take issue with the comment that they lost the way after Steevi left, they actually hit the top 40 with Bezerk which easily outsold Young & crazy, most Tailz fans I know couldnt care less about the first album! What killed Tigertailz was Music For Nations ruining any chance they had of capitalizing on that success as they couldnt use the name Tigertailz for years! |

It is not like bezerk, but it has a f----g brilliant sound, and it is not a 3.rd class copy of a actually mtv shit. simply others than anything else.-killer drum sound- !!!!! |
From: Bryan | Date: May 11, 2004 at 18:25 |
This is one hell of an ass kicking album. Heavy riffs and excellent drumming abound. Much, much different than 'Bezerk'. Kim Hooker,Pepsi Tate and Jay Pepper have reunited with a new drummer and are working on new music!!! Check out their site at http://www.tigertailz.co.uk |

It's heavy and pretty good, but f*ck these guys can sound annoying sometimes. Good heavy metal / glam album. |
From: Lullä Milanese | Date: November 10, 2004 at 2:49 |
I think it's underrated. Yes, it has a modern and experimental sounding but that doesn't make this album that bad. I kinda like it. |
From: kelligula | Date: January 4, 2006 at 2:35 |
I thought they were better with the founding members!! Hear the Stevii's back in the fold, interested to see what the future brings for these GlamCatz!! |
From: shark attack | Date: September 20, 2008 at 12:18 |
Avant garde glam metal which misses the target more than not but when it gets it right rocks like a motherfucker!!! Opening salvo's TEAR YOUR FUCKING HEART OUT and DIRTY NEEDLES are classic TIGERTAILZ albeit juiced on steroids and crack cocaine, whilst LOVE CAN KILL has one of those classic choruses that'll buzz around your brain for days. Don't be put off by the modern/experimental description cos this has it's feet firmly planted in the glam/sleaze camp with a few twists and turns to keep you on our toes. Check out the Japanese version which has an extra 5 trax including killer ballad I BELIEVE. 60/100 |

this cd is heavy and way underrated, on par with Bezerk but a harder sound. I love it. |
From: Alexxtcatz | Date: May 29, 2009 at 19:13 |
I bought the japanese edition of this cd only because of five bonus tracks |

TIGERTAILZ have a unique style ,cant think many bands have their sound,a mixture of hard rock ,screaming vocals ,heavy riffs ,with sleazy melodies and strong power ballads.WAZBONES is a clssic release with many good songs like "wazbones","tyfho" and ",ake me bleed".i must say that the keys are also great.overall a pretty good TIGERTAILZ release |
