I'm kinda split on this one. Its by no means a classic TT album, but its still a hell of a lot stronger than so many "glam" acts. The Wazbonez CD is a nice addition, even though I already own most of these versions on the Wazbonez demoz bootleg. Overall Thrill Pistol itself is nowhere near as instant as previous TT albums, but I defo think its a grower even if it never quite matches Bezerk! |

The bonus disc, 'Wazbones' is f*cking awesome. Maybe a silly move to pack this with the new album, because there is just no comparison in terms of song quality. To me, it seems Tigertailz have forgotten how to write a good chorus/hook and that is obvious with 'Thrill Pistol'. No songs are truly awful, but most fall short of being good too. Not the worst album, but IMO it's weaker than 'Bezerk 2.0' and I hope they do better next time. RIP Pepsi. |
