This is not your typical glam band. Kind of a Poison meets Metallica approach to the genre. I remember seeing this on cassette in a 1.00 bin and picking it up on a whim. Songs like Love Bomb Baby and Love Overload, just rock.

Now whe're talking!I bought this record on a trip to London! It is the heaviest glam act i've ever seen!Like it has been said before a perfect cross between Metallica,Poison and Crüe!Kim the second singer have such an agressive, high pich well molded voice! The guitar work is very strong, and the drumming is almost vicious!Melodies stick in your head and choruses larger than life!!Good production and keyboard parts, made by Don Airey!!The same musician from Ozzy Osborn!!

Also the cover artwork is great which is Kim going bezerk! All the concept was created by Pepsy the bass player! The lyrics would have inspired any Larry Flynt to put toghether his Hustler magazine! The bublegum look and sounding is great fun to see!You can even notice on the "Heaven"ballad a slight resemblance on Kim's voice, that reminds of Freddie Mercury at times!I even have a T-shirt of the cover of this album!Which I bought also in London!!! For a glam band 90/10!!

A really nice album cover. The music very successfully fits the appearence of the band members. This is one of the best glam albums. If you are a Poison, Vinnie Vincent Invasion or Slaughter listener, it is a must to have it. The whole "Side A" is highly recommended. That's all LOVE BOMB BABIESSSS!!!!!

I have to laugh when I hear the song 'Call Of The Wild'. It's quite the anthem. LOL!!! This could have been the song that single handedly killed "hair band" music.

Always had a weird relationship to Tigertailz though...When they're good they're good but when they suck they really suck! They'll never be my fave band unfortunately...Can't get the hang of British glam....Guess i'm a bit too Americanized...But their looks...Man, that's glam!

Bezerk is without a doubt one of the best glam albums ever. The fact that the boyz were one of the few bands to combine glam with heavy metal successfully shows how fucking cool they were! The Kim Hooker era walked all over the Steevi Jaimz era (dont worry Steevi I still luv ya) & at least I had the chance to see them on the Wazbones tour! From what I know all the guyz left the music industry behind! Shame!

i have to admit that ive never been to keen in the glam rock department but as far glam rock goes this is definetely one of the best exponents in the genre;actually i recall liking this one very much when it came out.i would describe this as glam rock with balls!!... something that pretty boy floyd always lacked.

This CD is in the inner circle of elite glam releases. That ring of CDs includes Poison's debut, Pretty Boy Floyd's "Leather Boyz", Foxy Roxx's "Shake the Foundation", Crue's "Dr. Feelgood" and this essential release. The choruses are sing-along in the "Talk Dirty to Me"-"Rock n Roll (is Gonna Set the Night on Fire)" style. Production is explosive to match the music!! Almost impossible not to like, if you're a glam fanatic.

Love Bomb Baby is one of those songs you know the guys came up with this catchy chorus and then made up the song from there. Anyway, great band and great album. Very unique glam metal sound.

Now THIS is how glam should sound, more catchy than a cold yet with a heavyness u will love... they r heavier than most glam bands, but while Love Bomb Baby is not that heavy with its sing-along chorus etc its one of those songs that grows on u quickly then burrows deeeeeep in2 ur brain & gives u no peace.... if ur reading this site then I would very highly recomend this cd (good luck finding it) worth the effort 2 look though

I have such a strong dislike of Kim Hooker's voice, but this is a good glam release. I do not think they compare with the majority of US glam bands and would not rate this CD too high, but 'Love bomb baby' and 'Twist and shake' are very cool glam anthems. Aside from that I do like the heavy glam sound they possess, and the songs are good... but I hate 'Heaven' - awful ballad. Overall I admit it, it's good glam CD, just not amazing.

Holly shit !!! I can't believe it. There are a lot of Glam rock die-hards here !!! If you are not a die-hard of the genre (but only like this genre like many others) then this release is quite good, funny and all but easy, who can seriously say that this release (band) is one the best ever ??? I kinda like Tigertailz but only for what they are, a good entertainment band (with an awful vocalist though first one was even worst, like music playing 45 T while singer sings 33 T).

Ok, now, you can go on and throw stones at me, I won't throw them back but just keep in mind I'm not trying to make Tigertailz' fans mad or angry, it is just this over the top enthousiasm is incredible to me (but that's ok, it seems so sincere that I higly respect that).

How cool is Love Bomb Baby? What a killer tune! This one grabbed me from the get-go, great album. Glam? Yes, rock and roll, yes! So much good music on this one. Sing along definately applies here. Catchy hooks and chorus', its got it all. Glam rock with attitude and purpose. Pick this one up. You will not be disappointed.

Bezerk in my mind is the top Tigertailz album for a few reasons: the production was far superior to Y&C (granted, they did what they could with Y&C), the album's entire atmosphere is so much more over the top, outrageous, and the songs themselves are F.CKING RIPPING!! The live album/video is a standout! They dominated all other UK bands in '90/'91. SickSex is one of the greatest openers of all time, sure to kick anyone's ass. Looking forward to Bezerk 2.0!!!

I'm really surprised by the glowing reviews above for this CD. Yes, the band's look and album art were way cool. Yes, the production is a nice mix of edgy guitars and glassy vocals. And yes, the songs mostly hook (even though all but one are instantly forgettable). But Kim Hooker sings like a cat caught in the blades of a riding mower. (And a tone-deaf one at that.) The guy is never in tune with the music. Granted, glam was never about musicianship, with Poison being the prime example of what you could do with a guy who could barely warble singing along to a guitarist who basically was learning every song on the fly. But those guys knew their limitations and worked around them. Tigertailz seem to revel in theirs and put them to the fore. Seriously, besides "Love Bomb Baby", the comically misspelled Bezerk is also comically bad. Avoid it like the well-landscaped feline it is.
