This is pretty excellent .. the production is top notch for an independant release. The songs are really guitar driven but dead melodic and the vocals are super strong. The only song I'm not really keen on is Touched By You as it's a bit ... ploddingy (Ok I made that word up). The band are supposedly christian rock but the message isn't forced upon you and isn't noticeable (similar to Kings X also supposedly christian rock). Oh yeah Don't You Know What Love Is is a cover of the Touch song |

When I say similar to Kings X I don't mean sound wise by the way I mean how they approach the subject of their faith. |

As Nick says, very very good for an Indie release and a real pleasant surprise. Not sure about the cover of the Touch classic 'Don't You Know What Love Is',whilst good, it lacks the lushness & the Keyboards of the original and is a little 'By The Numbers'. The rest is good solid Hard melodic rock in the Dokken/Stryper mould, especially the vocal - very Michael Sweet in places. As I said, a nice surprise & a definate keeper. |

Really good Melodic HardRock album with Melodic Metal touches. The vocals are just good no more, some great solos. like "Always Remember"(great guitar solo!), "Heart Of Stone" "Face To Face" "Castles In The Sand" and "Love Comes Down" are mine. The Touch classic is just good and nothing compared to the Original. 8/10 |

Superb album!!!...very solid songs with a good vocalist that Mr Rob Bonstin is...(reminded me a bit of Jon Deverill, former Tygers Of Pan Tang singer)..."Castles In The Sand" is a brilliant starter, rocking very good,"Lay It On The Line" is excellent,"Don't You Know What Love Is" is a very good cover of Touch that also Drive She Said re-recorded(the song was written by Mark Mangold, former member of Touch and nowadays with Drive She Said),"Snake Eyes" another good rocking one,"Face To Face" great one,"Heart Of Stone" more rock to your ears & "Love Comes Down" is a powerful ending track...enuff said!..get it!.94/100 |
