hmmm, pretty good album, extremely light though, but, not a bad thing, I love Bill's voice and this may be a hard one to track down but worth it if u like the very light west coast vibe. Definately a good one

Have it recently as a japanese relase cd and i have to say thatīs is a fantastic Cd. Musically superbly crafted in songs like "Satisfaction", or "Take It Uptown", It contains elegant ballads like "Gotta Get Back To Love", and "Tonight, Tonight", and the song "Whitout You" is a westcoast jewel. One of the best westcoast relases i have ever heard, and the musicians are top profesionals. 9/10 Buy if you find it. This is one of the milestones in wescoast music believe me.

Pretty nice Westcoast release by the Chicago man Bill Champlin with a vast list of guest musicians..."Runaway","One Way Ticket","Tonight Tonight"(nice),"Gotta Get Back To Love"(nice),"Without You" & "The Fool Is All Alone"(nice mid tempo)are worth tracks to check for...83/100

Three years were enough to get the sound of this artist closer to Hard Rock and AOR (but no so much) than the Disco/Yacht sound of his previous album. In that line the title tune is a nice mid tempo intro, followed for another great song in One Way Ticket. While the melody in Sara is far from a classic, the arrangement makes it a pretty good ballad. The intro for Tonight Tonight reminds me of After The Love Is Gone; great tune as well. The B-side goes back to the Disco/Funk influences, and it doesn't sound so convincing. Gotta Get Back To Love and The Fool Is All Alone are the other huge slow tune. Pretty nice CD overall, maybe missing something to become a classic, would listen to it again. Rating: 8/10. Favorite Track: Tonight Tonight.
