| Very ordinary, and some of the thinnest, poorly executed guitar work I've ever heard. Don't waste your time or $$$.

| This album reminds me a lot of I, Napoleon's S/T album. It's late 80's, early 90's hair metal with a twist. I love the song "I Took a Little" (it's got the big Motley Crue/Bon Jovi backing vocals that are very well done). A tough cd to review. I really hope their first album is better than this album.

| Another CD I had AGES ago, but got rid of. This really wasn't that bad, but pretty average hard rock. I don't miss it.

| Bought this one mistaking it for "Live Free Or Die" and while it's not bad, it is far from great. A couple of enjoyable songs, but no real gems. Kinda fun if you can get it for a few bucks.

If you are into the likes of The Cult,New Model Army,The Mission,The Damned(post punk/goth era),Lords Of The New Church,The Church,Crazyhead,Junkyard and Billy Idol(yes!Billy Idol)then Balaam & The Angel will suit you just fine! ...this band is not for everybody...open minded listeners wiil understand my point of view..."Don't Want Your Love" is a very good song then we have a couple of cool ones "I Took A Little" & "She Really Gets To Me","Body 'N Soul" caught my attention,"Heartbreaker" is pretty good,"The Tenderloin" rocks nicely,"Did You Fall" is another pretty highlight song...then we have a couple of songs that somehow have this AOR flavour(any of the bands that i mentioned except maybe Billy Idol have ever recorded a song with an AOR hint)"Goodbye Forever" & "I'm The Only One"...the album closes good with "Stop Messin' Around"...a band that have stayed somehow underground and that not too many people fancy...why???...do not know because surely is quite a good one...90/100 :co

| very good hard rock release for BALAAM AND THE ANGEL back in 89 and this is what happens when an English band goes to the States!the sound becomes more hard rocking and the attitude gets better!Days Of Madness will satisfy most hard rockers with its classic sound and strong production by Steve Brown!"i took a little","she really gets to me","did you fall " are the highlights !recommended
