Typical mid-90's sub-standard hard rock. It's not alternative or grunge or anything, just hard rock without the hooks or melodies. I expected a bit of Bangalore Choir in this, but there's not a trace. Very straight ahead hard rock, and again not bad at all if you like the direct and IMO boring approach, but it won't be for all.

Best of the two releases. Guitarsound is quite heavy, a bit like zakk wylde. A couple of killersongs here like: 'Colorblind','Bring me a miracle' and 'Angels cryin'. Finally, a record with some f... balls. David Reece had some of the better vocals in the rockscene. 8/10. Now where the hell is this guy??

Those expecting Bangalore Choir Part 2 (due to the presence of singer D. Reece) must've been bummed when they actually heard this band, because it is heavier & less commercial (fewer hooks) than Reece's previous band. Still, it's good, solid, straight-up hard rock that Reece delivers with power, attitude, & authority (the song "Angels Cryin'" is a perfect example). Bottom line, you won't be silently weeping if you pick this one up, but neither will you be shouting its praises from the rooftop...

Sub-standard rock? What album were you listening to Geoff. The music is heavy and captivating. From the opening riffs of "Color Blind" to the moody finish of "Slow Burn". The guitar work is outstanding. Larry Farkas is simply one of THE most underrated guitarists ever. His work here and with Vengeance Rising and Die Happy are second to none. Sircle of Silence's debut if far heavier than Bangalore Choice. Those familiar with the two Die Happy CDs might get an idea of what to expect.

Craving has one of the best vocals I've heard from Reece.

I love DAvid reece! but i was kind of disapointed to hear this, and i was expecting more melodic. But Dancin on the Sun is amazing! Other than that, it was not really my style. 65/100/

Actually rate this one as good as OnTarget, the heavier SOS debut served as the record where its members were finally allowed to give the middle finger to much of their respective pasts (perhaps reluctantly too but worth the gamble), managing to deliver a record far superior to anything else like it back in the day! Performances were exceptional those Reece vocals of course steal the show Schellen ever reliable and original booklet featured small 'song meanings' revealing also that lyrically these guys had moved well past many of the 'expectations' of their previous outings. Steve Plunkett was on hand for co-writes (sadly missed on the sophomore effort) but the guys sound very much a united delivering an honest record each track soaked in conviction & passion. Highlights are plenty, ColorBlind (deals with racism) a huge opener, PiecesOfFallingStar (crack) hard hitting melodies, DancinOnTheSun (personal fave), Angel'sCryin' (A.I.D.S.), SlowBurn a wonderful closer... Has aged well, 8.5
