wonderfull, not as good as the first cd,this is a great band you never heard of,saw them twice,(back in the day) a great american rock band.

From: T-BONE Date: August 11, 2001 at 10:01
2 thumbs up again!! The first was better, but this one is not far behind.

From: Date: April 9, 2002 at 10:57
I saw them live on this tour actually!! Not as good as the first cd but when the songs are good they're REALLY good!! "Liquid Emotion" still stands the test of time. Have tried like heck to find out what these guys are doing now. Vastly underrated band.

From: Sarracenia Date: May 19, 2002 at 6:40
An excellent follow up in its own right, but it sounds nothing like "Stick To Your Guns" (not that that's bad). Overall, a much more diverse sound on this one. The southern tinge on the debut is nowhere to be found here. More of a 90's-sounding record. But I still think it is an excellent album.

Hey!! I still talk to Tricky Lane! He's living out in Los Angeles and has a band called Tuscaurora that can be checked out at the mp2 site

Worse than the first album, which wasn't really that good, apart from "Nothin' For Nothin" and "Prince of the City".

From: GlamRock Gal Date: March 1, 2003 at 21:26
Loved this album, Temptation rocks. Saw them at Dallas City Limits in the early 90's. Awesome band and fun to hang out with! Wish I could find them on the internet. No luck

From: Trick Taylor Date: September 24, 2003 at 18:34
Not as solid top to bottom as "Stick", but musically much more mature. "Liquid Emotion" and "Paralyzed..." prove they were more than dunder-headed Tesla clones. These guys oozed energy, and that energy made up for lack of technical wizardry (much like Sleeze Beez). Good, down home rock with balls and little regard for flash. Hilarious group photo in booklet is no doubt a cause for some regret. Nice pose Tricky!

From: Metal T Date: October 4, 2003 at 21:07
Unfortunately,on this follow up disc, the band has lost their edge. The music, vocals and songwriting are pretty dull, giving way to an overall bland preformance, but Sweet F.A. are not the first band to fall into the mediocre second album funk and they won't be the last !

From: tomcat Date: November 14, 2003 at 10:47
oh yeah, this is sweet. They got an original style of rock n roll ,that's for sure.Highlights on this album are 'temptation', 'your love' (dedicated to I.),Reckless and 'indiana heart'. the bonus song on the cd 'mamma told me not to come' is also very cool although i never digged the original version. Too bad this band went away..

From: davesworld Date: January 31, 2004 at 23:15
This was a good album by the band, but not as good as thier first one. It just for some reason didn't sound the same to me. I still like but just not as much.

From: Date: July 16, 2004 at 23:18
Lost their edge? Are you out of your freakin' mind? This album was powerful- every bit as powerful as the first! Different, yes, but this is a more grown up, advanced album. Probably too deep for the bubblegum metalheads out there. Comparing the first album to this one would be like comparing Appetite for Destruction to Use Your Illusions (Of course, if you threw away the crap songs on the Illusions albums, you'd only have ONE CD left).

From: Metal T Date: July 17, 2004 at 20:49
Oh Yeah--This is a really "Deep" thinking man's record."Mama Told Me Not To Come","Sexuality","Liquid Emotion" ???. Get real .They lost their edge, their label and any chance to gain prominence . ---

From: Geoff Date: September 20, 2004 at 0:58
'Reckless' is an awesome track off the album as it's a no hold barred hard rocker and the highlight for me. Elsewhere, 'Paralyzed by you' is an atmospheric, alluring ballad, 'Temptation' is a cool rocker and 'Liquid emotion' is an interesting one. It's not as good as the debut, but it's a good hard rock CD. Unfortunately I think Steve went for a bit much on the vocals and although I really dig his voice he sounded like shit on the rougher tracks. Still, a good diverse and interesting CD.

I actually love this album. The first was by far the best of course but this one has it's merits. Songs like Your Love, Reckless, Vices etc.... kick arse! I think this album is still amazing to listen to today. I am happy with it

From: juan carlos Date: December 27, 2007 at 1:14
Buenos solos. Nada mal. 7.9/10

From: Metal T Date: January 16, 2008 at 9:07
...gonna have to take back the earlier comment."Temptation" was solid.Still not as good as "Stick"-but these songs sound absolutely f'n killer live'.-----

From: Kindred Date: January 21, 2009 at 22:22
Hmm. I love their first album. I did not like this at all. Too bluesy Black Crows feeling to me.

From: Madd Mortigan Date: August 31, 2009 at 21:05
I can't get into this album at all. I spun it many times trying to see if I can find something...maybe Temptation and Reckless but even then the songs just seem thrown together, no thought given to the lyrics or music. Their first album was better but not even THAT impressive. If you can find this one cheap give it a listen.

From: MetaLWhore Date: February 28, 2014 at 10:37
A Different Kind of Rock Album. Your Love is Excellent Slow Rock. Ultimately Fine Album.

From: Palash Date: December 20, 2016 at 13:03
The two songs Your Love and Indiana heart is very good. Your Love is a excellent Love ballad and Indiana heart is a good soft rock with acoustic guitar. Storm is Moving in is also good song.

From: MetalllianStallion Date: June 5, 2024 at 11:43
@Doghouse, you want it, you got it. The return of the 'DUNDER-HEADS' in all their underwhelming glory (album below). Trick Taylor's other part of that comment above... "These guys oozed energy, and that energy made up for lack of technical wizardry (much like Sleeze Beez)" Sweet FA was OOZING alright, from the septic tank. I saw "Sleeze Beez" in a club in 90-91', as I can't remember LIVE if they used back tracks (aka wizardry) for all the bells and whistles like the studio version of "Stranger than Paradise". I don't see a comparison of SFA to SB unless it's their first album with a different singer which was terrible. Sweet F.A. - Temptation (Full Album) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jKmeZvy8RI
