If you notice that a particular Steelheart CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Nice little EP, which features the song we all die young, which was on the cd "Wait". Most people know that Mike Matijevic is an amazing singer, but this EP Is not going to make you think of there first two cd's.Actually this is a new band accept mike, which brings a total new sound which I think I younger generation would love. Myself I love the old sound of Steelheart but I can live with the new sound as well I gave it 7/10.

No good imo. Too modern sounding. Like i wrote they should go back to their roots. It made em big and will make em big again. new generation has already lots of bands making this kind of modern music. To stand out in the crowd they should do the opposite. So back to what they know and do best and you can hear that on their first 2 albums

GOOD EP 85/100 CLASSIC/MODERN MELODIC HARD ROCK at his best ! A good mix of old and new fashion way of doing it Even if the GREAT Mike Matijevic way of singing is lower than he used to , it's good enough to please everyone I'm waiting for a true full time CD

Nothing special here. Was a huge fan of the old Steelheart back in the day. Standing out big time with Michael's superb vocals combined with incredible musicianship of the band as a whole they produced some of the best hard hitting melodic Hard Rock around. Needless to say I didn't like this new approach at all. To say this is a disappointment is a huge understatement. Now some people claim that artistical growth nothing but good but if that means sounding like your every other recent year's Alternative bands screw it. Seriously, this is not Steelheart like Helix said. This is Michael desperately trying to be Alternative and sound like Soundgarden. And he admits it, they even call themselves Alternative now. Just take a look at their site and MySpace so you'll see. The new album won't be any good this way. As Hard Rocker myself I'd advice not to support. Not unless you're a fan of Grunge and the like that is. Steelheart is dead, yet another awesome band ruined.

Amen to that Mike. Awesome band back in the day. Dead now tho

From: ninjapeter Date: November 26, 2008 at 17:47
I agree with the above two comments. Why do older bands change to alternative, they are not going to attract the younger crowd and all they do is lose the loyal fans that supported them from the beginning. All I can say is I hope they have enough money to live on for the rest of thier lives because they are dead now musically. Please smarten up guys.

Yeah..new sound of rock here but c'omon is not that bad...."LOL" is a strong "new modern" song as our friend YngwieViking said and "We All Die Young" is just amazing!!!...Mr Matijevic still roars like hell!!!.Buy it if you are open minded otherwise avoid it...as 4 me goes...85/100
