This one is great.Guitardriven hard and melodic metal. If Fifth Angel were an british band, they would have made an album soundig like "One strange night". Only the CD bonus "sick and tired" are not my cup of tea.

This Cd is just hard, I cant believe more people havent heard this kick ass disc! it simply rocks, just good clean driven, hard rock, if you find this pick it up, Fight, and waiting are my favorite songs, but the entire cd is good from start to finish, no fillers here.

Cracking melodic hard rock release. They remind me of Fifth Angel and American Angel also. Awesome riffs, great musicianship... not much more to say other than own it!

I can't believe I'm gonna type this, but this is what Lillian Axe should have released instead of 'Psycho'. This album is all melodic rock with awesome axework to the perfect degree. If you liked Lillian Axe's Poetic Justice, get this now. The first song starts off extra heavy and I was wondering what the rest would be like, but the rest of the album isn't as intense, concentrating on melody and songwriting over speed and agression. Amazing disc from beginning to end. What a find. 9.8/10

Gran melodic metal. 8.7/10

From: juan carlos Date: May 12, 2006 at 15:52

From: shooto Date: June 20, 2007 at 8:38

From: DEE CEE Date: June 9, 2008 at 5:55
What happenned to these guys??? I still have this on vinyl from new. Shame there was no other release's..

From: shoemaker Date: February 5, 2009 at 13:08
As Heavy.AOR told, they made an EP in 85, called THE BITTER END. It´s more in the metal mood, not as good as "On strang..", but also a strong work.

Now talking about the album...nothing to kill for IMHO...just a standart British Melodic Metal band...best cuts for me were "Waiting","Round And Round","Frozen Promises","Early In The Morning" & "Running Scared"...70/100

killer hardrock!!!

From: Delbert Date: April 30, 2014 at 14:09
An absolutely fantastic melodic heavy metal album. Every element is played to perfection! Heavy at times, lite at other times, melodic, catchy, speedy, slow, they do it all, and they do it to perfection! In the vein of early MARSHALL LAW with hints of LEATHERWOLF at times. Another one of my favorites and I highly recommend it.

From: Leykis101 Date: April 5, 2015 at 23:13
Seem to pull this disc out frequently, was in a serious debate the last 3 days, over rather or not I should go ahead and just fuck with the songs a tiny bit, get the volume levels up to snuff, and see if I can't fill in that bottom end bass sound a tiny bit, that is the one and only thing that is wrong with this release, it's almost a mystery to sit back and think about what the mastering engineer was really doing while he was supposed to be mastering this album, it's levels could definately be raised, and it would make this disc go from ultimate to legendary, thats how bad the volume is on it, it gets a pass so much cause of what historic songs it has, but even historic songs can only be heard at what they are for so long, before they are questioned about what you know they can be, if the band aint gonna get on it, guess i gotta do it for myself!! oh, BTW, if you never heard this disc, your a fucking retard, and you needa walk into on coming traffic!!
