This is another of those benchmark Westcoast/AOR cd's that everyone must own - a true classic. Anyone into Toto and The Tubes AOR period (The Completion Backward Principle, Outside Inside) will love this one, although this does have a slightly tougher edge to it than The Tubes albums. Steve Lukather also really shines on this and the quality of the songs is truly impressive throughout. Re-issued by BGO a few years ago, so should be fairly easy to track down which I advise you to do ASAP.

so tru Jez....this is his first out of two albums i think, and this one is way better than the second one. 'carabian sunset', 'i don`t even know your name' great songs.......a must have for TUBES fans, and everyone who`s into AOR/WESTCOAST...

Indeed a classic AOR album with the kind of quirkiness you would expect from Tubes mainman Fee Waybill. Includes some of Luke's best ever guitar work. He effortless churns out the kind of riffs most guitarists can only dream about - 'Nobody's perfect' and 'Saved my life' being prime examples.

There can never be an album again in history that does as much for the AOR genre as this album did! this cd is a disc fed definition as to what AOR stands for, it's the kind of CD that you don't even have to worry about wasting money, or never hearing it before, if you like AOR, and you trust the people on this board, just order this cd, you will put it in, and you will never look back, my personal favorite comes at the very end, with I could have been somebody classic keyes and structure.

Great stuff - reminds a lot of Toto around the same time period. A mix of pure westcoast and more AOR-flavoured tracks, like 'You're Still Laughing' and 'Star Of The Show', which are both great. On the other hand, 'Thrill Of The Kill' is almost metal! In all though, this is a truly great album, perfectly produced and full of catchy songs. And of course great singing and musicianship. Highly recommended!

In agreement with Jez...similar to Toto and The Tubes(Fee's band)of that stage...very pleasant(and i think is the best description) 80's AOR songs..."You're Still Laughing","Who Loves You Baby","I Don't Even Know Your Name"(nice ballad),"Thrill Of The Kill"(this song rocks very good,it starts with "heavy guitars" ) & "Caribbean Sunsets" are my favourites...enjoyable to have!!!.91/100
