Not since Toys of Joys' "One of These Days" CD has a voice sounded so close to that of Don Henley's. If you listen to "Prodigal Girl" with eyes closed & disbelief suspended, you will swear you're hearing something off "Building the Perfect Beast". But there's more than shameless imitation on this rare Canadian AOR indie: "Matter of Time" is tight, well-written AOR similar to Kevin Chalfant's "Running With the Wind" solo CD. Other winners: the Eddie Schwartz-ish "Confusion" and the title track.

And a big thanks to Dr. koogles, AOR M.D., for recommending this one to me.

Strange album. It delievers pure canadian AOR(with keys and guitars) but in a few places it has those weird arrangements that not fit the overall feel.I think this albums is a hybrid of Kevin Barrett-Makin' movies album (from Canada as well),and Jimmy Davis&The Junction, with a few tracks that don't contribute to the motion.Thumbs-up for the strong AOR material Roger gave us,thumbs down for two filler tracks:"Be My Balloon" and "It's Her Little Inner Child" (weird titles huh?).Bottom line:Buy it

Mmnnnn...my indecision abiut this cd is very strong:some good aor moment but vocals is a little weak and with few expression IMO.I hear too much fillers to condifer this one a must...so It's possible I'll put on sale the disc(I know it's very rare now).

Yep, "Confussion" "Matter Of Time" or "Go On and Dream" are Winners, "Leave Our Love" or "Prodigal Girl" are cool ballads but there are some boring fillers here. Roger's voice? reminds me of Beny Mardones/Don Henley. 7.8/10

Wow is this guy the clone of Eddie Money??? ...he sings exactly like the aforementioned when singing the AOR songs in here(by the way this album is not completely AOR,the guy also tries country music...perhaps the most accurate comment is peterpoland's)...'bout the tracks,my faves are "Handle With Care"(nice softy),"Tie You Up","Matter Of Time"( ) & "Go On And Dream"....86/100...not a killer release but enjoyable...86/100

Iīm listening this album again and if i'd have to tell the truth.. well, itīs a BORING album as a whole. 3 good songs as i already said above. The voice is just OK, Dr. KOOGLES thumps up here! Don Henley reminds you at once but that is not a problem cos it isn't a great voice as Don Henley obviously. Itīs a RARE CD but i donīt recommend this one for you 78/100
