If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Faith No More CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Faith No More are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

OMG why is this band here? *barf* I'll admit I have this album because Midlife Crisis is kinda cool but I only got it because everything else on the radio in 1992 was absolute garbage. Be Agressive is a fun song and Land of Sunshine is interesting. A Small Victory has its moments as well, but no way would I ever recommend this band/album to any melodic rockers. Strange band. I'm going with a NA rating here.

Cool album. Its not really heavy harmonies music but much better than most shit in 1992. THE LAND OF SUNSHINE, CAFFINE, MIDLIFE CRISIS, RV, EVERYTHING'S RUINED and MIDNIGHT COWBOY are the highlights. Jim Martin is an excellent guitarist, very underatted. Mike Patten is also a more than capable, if different, vocalist. Check out the more metallic THE REAL THING of 89, as this is slightly more alternative. Great album and something that stood out in 1992.

Coming off of the incredible success of THE REAL THING, legend has it that FNM made this one weirder and more alternative-leaning on purpose in order to lose all the trendy MTV fans they'd picked up on the previous album and regain some of their critical-darling underground "cred." If that's true, then it worked great on me. I hated this album!!
