A definate must have for all the Asia fans out there (although I know most of you will already have this!!!). I think most people know what they are going to get when Wetton/Downes are involved - in one word 'Quality' and this has that by the bucketload in all departments. I had very high expectations for this and I was not left disappointed. The Japanese version I have also features a new version of 'Heat Of The Moment' although I understand this is being issued as an E.P. later in the year. |

why hardly any comments on this one????? one of the best of the year that I forgot about, fantastic writing on this one, a bit lighter then early Asia, but a must have, All strong songs, highlights for me are Let me go, I stand alone,Spread your wings, Midnight, and the beautiful Sleep Angel!!!! Wonderful!!! |

Yeah, it's 'good old freaky again here' Swriter. You're right : where are the comments on this beautiful CD ? ! While not on the same level as Asia, this is still very good lite AOR stuff ! Maybe it could have been a bit harder and rockier, I agree, but the songs are real fine. Great record and RECOMMENDED indeed ! |

This is magnificent. I never expected this to sound quite as AOR as it does, thankfully (IMO) losing some of the prog tendencies of ASIA - particularly their last album. It sounds lush, with loads of keys & strings etc, and the songs themselves are brilliantly written. It's a little front-loaded with all the best tracks in the first 5, but is still a major highlight of 2005 so far. 9/10. |
