'the seducer' is one of my alltime favorite songs.

From: Paulo Fernandes Date: May 19, 2001 at 17:22
I agree, seducer is great, great album, just keeps on spinning on my cd player

From: Rycheage Date: September 5, 2001 at 17:57
Excellent melodic metal CD. "When You See Me Again", "Tear Down The Wall", and "Seducer" highlight this CD deep rooted in 80's style of hard rock. Highly recommend for any fan of 80's metal.

first half of this album is a 10 drops of a bit for me on the second half but if you like gorgeous female vocals singing rock songs you 'll like this, some very nice touches

From: Alan Date: December 23, 2001 at 14:18
Sandi Saraya...whatever happened to her? Both albums are really good..."Blackbird had an awesome engineer"

From: Steve T Date: February 27, 2002 at 10:58
This is an excellent album. Think Pat Benatar sings Tesla and there it is. Tony Bruno also plays with DangerDanger these days. Superb album and a crying shame the band never broke big.

From: Tony Date: April 29, 2002 at 19:01
Every once in a while I throw this in the cd player and still dig it. Stands the test of time for me a lot better than the debut and she is an incredible singer. Too bad they didn't stick around more I think they could have been big. Was kinda stuck in that gray area of not completely a "hair" band but not completely a "classic rock" band which is a shame because both albums were great.

MAS GUITARRERO Y CON TOKES MAS PROGRESIVOS Q EN EL PRIMERO,NO ESTA A LA ALTURA DE LO FUE SU PRIMER DISCO

From: naslund Date: February 5, 2003 at 22:42
I love both Saraya CDs. Does anyone know of any female fronted bands that are similar other than Dante Fox or Alyson Avenue?

From: Reno Date: February 6, 2003 at 0:37
Fiona, Lee Aaron, and Femme Fatale are well worth checking out.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: February 6, 2003 at 4:19
Hey Reno, Don't forget to mention Femme Fatale... Also, if you want to check out some really good "chick" stuff, check out a band called 'Princess Pang' Now that is some good shit!!!! You will find them on this website.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: February 6, 2003 at 4:21
P.S. Reno, I know, I know,.... you already mentioned Femme Fatale, so don't even start with me, Jackass!

One of my favorite CD's from that time period. This is the direction I wish "HEART" would have gone then. Sandi Saraya has a great and very underated voice. It is a shame that they never really peaked on the charts. Both Saraya CD's both have a kind of magic for me. I think that "Blackbird" is a little heavier, but I think that is because "Bruno's" guitar tone has lots of balls (Bring Back The Light). If you are a "POISON" fan, Do not buy any Saraya CD's. They are too off the charts for someone

While the first album was pretty much aor with slight hard rock touches, this album is hard rock all the way as the guitars are more forceful. "When You See Me Again" is my favorite and producer Peter Collins turns in an excellent production job. 7/10

From: West Of Sunset Date: July 31, 2004 at 2:44
Simply one of the five best hard rock albums ever. The production is amazing, and the songs are pretty hard edged with and outstanding melodic touch. For me the best song is "In the shade of the sun", then i have to say that "Lions den" has a very good groovy in the guitar riff and "itchin a ride" and "when you see me again" are simply memorables songs. An out of print cd, this one is a blueprint of a hard rock killer album. 10/10 Contact:westofsunset@hotmail.com or davidgilvallejo@wanadoo.es

Musically, this is just a monster of a CD. Rock solid. And vocally, once again, Sandi sounds beautiful. 'When you see me again' is the best song they ever recorded and one of my fave female fronted (if not my fave) songs ever. A melodic gem. Elsewhere, 'Bring back the light' and 'Tear down the wall' are stellar melodic hard rock songs - the backing vocals on this CD are outstanding too. Quite a few fillers, but a solid CD.

Nuevamente coincido, aqui con Geoff. Una de mis cantantes favoritas de hard rock.Bonita tambien la balada acustica kNew World. Otro punto ojala los puristas no se molesten pero una lastima la muerte de la cantante Soraya, me trae gratos recuerdos su primer disco, lo escuchaba en ese tiempo con mi enamorada, ahora mi esposa. Escucho PANTERA, Duran Duran,ThE FIXX, Dream Theather, Kamelot y muchos estilos mas. Eso si nada que ver con el rap y el HIP HOP

From: JF Date: May 12, 2006 at 22:33
Para los que no la conocen era colombiana y su estilo, me refiero al primer disco es melancolico, suave por momentos acustico y con muy bonitas letras.

From: juan carlos Date: May 13, 2006 at 0:16

From: darobinson Date: April 3, 2008 at 21:08
This is no where near as good as the self titled. It is okay but the S/T is amazing!!!

From: BIG-TIME Date: May 12, 2008 at 11:00
Great music, but the voice is bad in my opinion! the music I like but I think the voice ruins the whole feel, get shut of Sandi Saraya and get a dude in with a killer voice. Some would say "Why" I have nothing against women singers I just think that Sandi Saraya is bad...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: edwithmj Date: August 12, 2008 at 18:29
Although this is good, it's not as good as the first album. The songs seem to last a bit too long and there are fewer keyboards so the band sound a bit to generic. This album is a bit like Danger Danger's Cockroach when they lost their keyboardist. Still good though. 7.5/10

From: dougie Date: October 11, 2008 at 18:06
Disagree edwithmj, this is by far one of the best hard rocking albums ever. Production is spot on and the somgs are strong, catchy, vibrant and memorable. The first album was good but this is polished and sheer class. The guitar by Tony Bruno is in a class of its own. Sandy's voice....whoahh..nuff said!

From: Doug Date: June 12, 2017 at 14:02
Forever in search from my "I Want It" list and saw this one the other day and picked it up. Solid album, glad I found it.
