this cd/cass ROCKS, and that's the only way to put it. I jammed to this the summer of 1990 and still love it 11 years later. Pick up a copy and you won't be disappointed.

From: Scotty Date: March 18, 2001 at 17:58
This album would be much better if the drummer knew how to keep time. You can't tap your foot along to any songs with the tempo straying off into who knows where. I liked "Crash Landing", and "The Slider".

From: blue eyed boy Date: May 1, 2001 at 17:47
i was crazy about their first effort but i never liked this one for some reason. sometimes they can be heard on rocknrollstation.com bye

"Empty Arms" and "Crash Landing" really stand out when I think of this album. This is a great album!!! I never heard their self titled release.I first heard of them on Decline Of The Western Civilization Prt.2 I found this one in a dollar bin, a dumb ass must of ran that store!

From: worldofhurt Date: December 23, 2001 at 3:08
decline ofwest.civil.II turned me on to this band had to spec. order the cd. everyone who hears it starts spewing out names of bands they think it might be. the bass and the breaks make's for a very catchy sound it's one of the best 80's bands most fans of that era missed out on. great driving music!

From: rocker Date: February 16, 2002 at 9:06

Hey, R Craig, If your who I think you are, You were a pretty fleet fingered virtuoso in your own right. Halloween, Seduce, Strut, Alcatraz (Detroit's)

From: Lisa Date: May 11, 2002 at 23:51
I loved the first album from Seduce. Seeing the messages about Harpos and Halloween sure do take me back. That was the best metal in the world. I no longer live in Michigan but wish I could see them again. Thanks for making me remember.

Seduce was awesome and their reunion made me feel relive the great Detroit times of the 80s when they ruled. I've found a site where someone has Seduce live (amon other stupid stuff)... check it out at http://www.geocities.com/tamtamari/

From: metal T Date: June 10, 2003 at 20:52
This is a nice slab of metal from a very underrated midwestern metal band.Hailing from Detroit,Seduce were ten times better than the likes of Motley Crue-etc.Too Much Aint Enough' is further evidence that the truly great kick ass bands(like Seduce)never hit it big!

From: brian Date: September 14, 2003 at 21:35
...seduce has lots o' bad kharma on them. they treat people badly. they never pay for services like pictures or artwork. hell they even rip off their own artist photographer who designed the logo on the bands debut album... how tacky is that. i'm glad they never made it and this album cannot compare to the first. they kind of sold out early so it shows us what they are really about. too bad the talent gets shit on because they are assholes in person. blah.

From: SeducedByMetal Date: November 10, 2003 at 7:11
killer cd....crash landing kiks ass....as they did on "the decline off western civilisation part II video...and empty arms..another fav off mine..

From: Metal T Date: December 15, 2003 at 21:06
Futhermore, this band was freaking killer !--They put out some kick-ass songs "Crash Landing","Empty Arms","No Use","Watchin" etc. They're first album was even heavier than this and is definitely worth seeking out."Seduce" put out some killer sounds for a trio and their 2 releases are Gems !

From: Blackstar Date: January 11, 2004 at 4:41
Good news for you other Seduce fans. Check out www.motorcityrock.com It has tons of Seduce stuff. Free MP3's and video. Enjoy.

From: red Date: March 2, 2004 at 19:32
Just like a lot of people, I first saw them on Decline 2. They were a solid band.

From: martinsane Date: May 23, 2004 at 5:02
? speaking of Decline in the background of the strip scenes, specifically the "talent"/strip contest, a few tunes are playing. Who does them and are they out in any format!!!! Imust know/have. Thans martinsane@msn.com

From: Traylor Trash Date: June 15, 2004 at 22:52
This was a great band that I wish was still around continuing to evolve and make music. They have a great sound and "Too Much Ain't Enough" is still a kick ass album, I just listened to my old 'snap, crackle and pop' vinyl LP version of it today! Drunk Frank from http://www.geocities.com/traylortrashband

From: Brian Date: July 7, 2004 at 13:30
I was hooked with "Watchin". It took me a while to figure out that these guys tune way down to get thier sound. I still can't figure out what the hell Mark is signing. Any idea where to see the lyrics?? Drove from CT to NYC to see these guys....10 people in the crowd but they rocked. Great band, CD still holds up today. Searched long and hard to find CD, found on EBAY. Add this CD to your collection. A-

Brian, Traylor and everyone else interested in the mp3s from the ist couple of discs and tons of radio performances, artwork, photos, flyers, etc go the sight Blackstar lists above- www.motorcityrock.com Almost everything the band ever released/recorded is there.

From: Metal T Date: August 19, 2004 at 15:17
The fact that this killer disc has never been reissued, remastered,or even given its fair due to be printed again in some form is a complete F**KING joke !---Im not sure about the label rights/band rights issue regarding this one with their former label I.R.S.,but if its a matter of a label just stepping to the plate to make it happen, then by all means: Perris,Metal Mayhem,or someone get off your asses and do it . ----Im sure those who share the same degree of interest in this band will agree.

From: Ray Date: December 8, 2004 at 20:39
I'm a sucker for good power trios. This band is no exception. Being a bass player myself, I automatically drifted to Mark Andrews style of playing...not just thumping along on the E or A string, but walking all over the fretboard. His tone was ripping. On "the metal years", he's playing a Jackson Concert bass through Trace Elliot heads and I believe Ampeg cabs. That's a lot of raw power and tone. I loved it so much I bought a Jackson to run through my Ampeg rig. Great cd!

From: Ray Date: December 8, 2004 at 20:48
Had it backwards. Ampeg heads and Trace cabs.

From: razorsharp2467 Date: January 9, 2005 at 10:30
I have to say that this is one of the great overlooked releases of the 1980s!!!! If you havent heard this cd, do yourself a favor and get it!!

From: ALEXX GLAM Date: January 25, 2005 at 11:21
YES GET IT! ITS AWESOME SLEAZE ALBUM BUT MY FAV IS "NO USE" AND THE T REX COVER IS KILLER

From: Wattage Date: March 4, 2005 at 0:18
Killer band, wish this album sounded as great as they did live. They were monsters. Really good songs but IRS had no clue how to handle a Metal band, shame they could have been real big. Watchin' is a great track and the b-side Homicide is one of my fav tracks.

From: Priest On E Date: March 30, 2006 at 17:25
This record rules! I my opinion better than the first, but need to give that more spins. Best tracks are absolutely CRASH LANDING, ANY TIME OR PLACE, and NO USE. These three are awesome slabs of original metal. They have that awesome downtuned sound, but with killer vocals saving them from what most downtuned bands have become. Sleaze/glam/heavy metal or hard rock? You decide. This is a very special band that shoulda relocated from Detriot to LA. Bet they woulda made it then cos they fuckin rule!

From: Priest On E Date: April 1, 2006 at 4:29
martinsane, the name of the band was TRIKK TOYZZ during the strip scene, with the songs 'Life's A Beach' and 'Love Masheen'. I want them too, but cant find them anywhere! Theyre not even on this site, so if anyone has any info on TRIKK TOYZZ or how to get any of their stuff post it below...

From: Metal T Date: January 8, 2007 at 17:06
Another disc in definite need of a re-release...

From: editor Date: June 16, 2008 at 18:42
the reason the debut is NOT displayed here; http://totenkopfsongs.blogspot.com/

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 10, 2009 at 20:58
Quite good album with decent songs but somehow underrated by the media...these guys had a little participation in the 1988's movie/documentary The Decline Of Western Civilization # 2-The Metal Years and also they contributed with a song in the soundtrack of the same m/d "Colleen" was the name of the track..anyway talkin' about this one the album has relevant songs such as the opener "Any Time Or Place","Watchin'","Accusations" and 2 killer tracks "Been So Long" and "Crash Landing"...Seduce, a band that has become a cult band and as Metal T said, this cd needs 2 b re-release now!!!.85/100

From: hardrockzombies_82 Date: March 21, 2011 at 21:35
man this is definetly one of the most underrated bands and albums ever this band kicks some serious ass every song on here rocks hard espically any time or place, been so long, crash landing and empty arms i love that song starts out slow and then starts getting faster i love david black's style of guitar playing and i think it's cool like somebody above said how mark andrews plays chords on the bass it definetly sucks that seduce didn't make it big because they really deserved it i have their first self titled cd autographed by chuck burns and david black it rocks and is a little bit heavier than too much, ain't enough they still do play reunion shows well at least they were on the metal years along with some other talented underrated bands like odin, london and lots of others.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: March 22, 2011 at 13:59
"The Decline Of Western Civilization" was the best thing to happen to these guys. Another one of those "you had to be there" bands. Kinda like Detroit's version of Teeze (not so much musically).

From: maulars Date: May 4, 2014 at 21:05
"Anytime or Place" has got to be one of my all-time fave glam-metal songs. These guys had such swagger and attitude that fit perfectly with the kind of music they played. Excellent.

From: Diamonddave777 Date: January 3, 2021 at 14:42
Much better than the 1st record, a good album .

From: hair metal again Date: October 19, 2023 at 14:16
very good release for SEDUCE offering a rough hard rock sound with excellent production ,great guitars but the songs arent that catchy and the choruses should be bigger!"no use","been so long" are the highlights but the rest is also remarkable!good stuff just not great
