I love the cover for this disc. Pretty lady, cool cover. As for the music, it is very solid and very nicely produced. Very suprised it was not released back in the day. The songs? Very consistent, and to me this CD sounds like Newman leftovers. I think 'Here tonight' is awesome, and the rest is very good, but also pretty safe. Don't get me wrong, I like this disc and most songs (except the last), but to me it sounds like Newman on their less spectacular tracks. Lot of different vocals too... |

A nice piece of workman-like A.O.R.I agree with Geoff concerning the cover and the production, but up until the last two tracks, which aren't that bad with the female vocalist, the music, not so much the vocal sound, lean more toward Outland's debut in my opinion.Solid and enjoyable 80s-tinged A.O.R...I like this and it's a bit of a grower.... |

Very good and enjoyable AOR/Hard Rock release from Bitter Suite. I really like the cool cover and The model Jill Hilton is very Hot looking. The songs on this cd are all very consistent. Especially my fave George Christon (Kick Axe Vocalist) songs that is worth the price of the cd to me. The last two tracks feature female sings of which Bad Boy is awful and the singer Kelly Brock should stay home in the kitchen. The Carrie Jay songs is very catchy and enjoyable. Rated 9.5/10. |

i thought the first 4 or 5 songs on this disc were pretty cool but then it lost a lot of steam for me. particularly the two songs towards the middle, "Right Place, Wrong Time" and "Look Into My Heart". Whoever sings on those two tunes is awfull compared to the earlier songs. Just bad. And it didnt really get any better toward the end. They should have stopped at song five. Ahh well, maybe it will grow on me... |

Based on all the talent this one had I was expecting more. The songs sound unfinished to me. It's all cake and no icing. It's not a bad album by any stretch, there's just no memorable hooks or outstanding tracks. The best two IMO are 'After The Storm' and 'Hard To Say It's Over'. 'Crime of Love' and 'Prayin for the Rain' are solid but unspectacular openers. 'Right Place, Wong Time' is catchy and a good tune. The rest of the album fails to stick when I throw it against my ears. 5/10 |

I agree with the good comments above but i agree partially with Kip's comment too as i also expected something more spicy musically talking(despite of the already spicy cover )...the ones i enjoyed the most(which means different to "like")are "Hard To Say It's Over","Here Tonight","Right Place,Wrong Time","Give Me The Night" & "After The Storm"...hope next one has another girlie picture but less dressed but with full clothed songs,if u know what i mean ...83/100 |
