Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

receive today this record in japan issue.it s a decent record not more.the main quality of this record is the production the sound is absoluty perfect.strong and very clear ,we have the feeling to be in the studio with the musicians.two songs are excellent .track 12 and 13."who do you run to" a super song who reminds me the glory days of baton rouge, and the acoustic version of "love will tear us appart"(beautiful japan bonus track).the rest ...hum it s very very average a collection of fillers.allessandro del vecchio have made a very big mistake.kelly keeling is not the best singer of the world.in baton rouge he was perfect with massive choruses and super songs from jack ponti.this guy is a factory of hits.but kelly keeling have nothing to do in a o r.he have not the voice, the class ,the charism of michael bormann, jeff scot soto or joe lynn turner for example.his cup of tea is hard u s not a o r.allessandro and his italians friends are out of the target this time. |

I was excited about Keeling releasing another album, always been a fan of his (esp. Baton Rouge), and that this was released on Frontiers' was another hopeful aspect...and again Alessandro Del Vecchio was attached to this (like most other Frontiers albums). I enjoyed this release overall...even though you can tell that Alessandro Del Vecchio's signature lyric/music is all over this release. NOTE: there are three reworked old BATON ROUGE tracks (#5, 10, 12) that never made it to an album...which makes this release extra special IMO. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12. MY RATING: 80/100 |

Despite the omnipresence of the Italian team, in this solo album does Keeling manage to juggle well between the "Italian" compositions and those of the usual Ponti (but they were old songs)? Frontiers works best when they have ideas in hand with a soloist, as in this case. |
