You hear about this as one of the classics of Christian metal. If so, I don't see why. Nothing distinguishes this CD as a classic, except that the production's very good - not scratchy. The vocals are okay, but never impressive. The guitars shred, but don't tear it up. There's no "heart" in any of it. Nothing stayed with me after listening to this. Off to eBay!

The review by Cephas has no idea of what he`s talkin about. This album kicked ass and with the help of p.k. mitchell and Dino Elefante who produced. All the songs rock and the best is "This Is The Right Time". And yes rightly so is this considered a classic Christian Metal Album. A must buy if you like metal.

Wizard & Shoemaker are so rite (cephas...u just don't no metal man)! I've been tryin' 2 find this album for years but with no luck but I have Neon Cross's "Torn" cd & it rocks & I no this cd rocks also even tho I've never heard it.

Great album! Nothing solid heavy metal with extremely catchy riffs. David Raymond Reeves is a good vocalist on the lower end of things, but he sometimes gets a little high for his own good. Fantastic axework though! All in all great album. Favorite tracks: Heartbreaker, Frontline Life, Victory.

Absolute Metal classic from 1988, period. Killer songz, and the singer's range is Fuckin Killer too, check it.

Indeed a must if you love bands as Barren Cross,Shadow Wings or Battalion but nothin'spectacular. It's good solid class melodic metal with some pretty good hook, the ballad is pretty good, too. But if you like the bands below don't expect to find the same quality in this band anyway....

Agree with z4roxx about the comparissons and with Rafo Phoenix!!! ...great and solid tracks with energy, for me some of these CCM metal bands were (or "are" may i say) really powerful...lirycally they just give their souls away!!!...Dino Elefante involved obviously gave a big deal of production and guidement to the band..."Run Into The Light"(excellent),"We Are The Children Of Our Lord"(a blast!),"Heartbreaker"(excellent),"On The Rock"(excellent)& "Frontline Life"(wonderful song with a fantastic lyric)...get it!.87/100

At the time of its release, this cult-classic Christian metal album stood out like a neon sign in the night thanks to its tight, professional production (courtesy of Dino Elefante) and hooky heavy metal. A little dated-sounding by today's standards, and vocalist David Reeves occasionally reaches for high notes that he'd be better off leaving alone, but some of the songs on here hit where it counts ("Heartbreaker," for example) and no '80s white-metal collection is complete without this CD.

Best Heavy/Power Metal Christian band ever! Knew these guys would sound just like Barren Cross when I first personally hear them on my earphones. This is a must-have for my Metal collection! Cheers \m/
