If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Freiheit CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Freiheit are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Another pop/synth/aor from the 80s.Title track ''Romancing in the track'' seems to be the best track on this album for me. Basicly it sounds mosty like 80s PET SHOP BOYS. It's not a bad album, you just have to like this genre

If you post here the MÜNCHNER FREIHEIT then you as well can start to post PUR ..and however, why not posting PET SHOP BOYS,OMD,ULTRAVOX,NEW ORDER etc... By the way, DURAN DURAN have out a new album on MTM. Why isn't this here since MTM is an AOR label???

i agree, a gem like this has nothing to do on this site. poor stuff.

Didn't see this one on the site, and to be honest am very suprised to see this here. This is synth-pop, albeit with some great vocal harmonies. "Fantasy" (1988 I think) was the better disc, with their big hit "Keeping the Dream Alive" which is a class tune. If you can find a CD single of that track then buy that rather than either album. Decent enough pop music, but it makes Chicago sound like Cannibal Corpse.

If you like these, I'd suggest to buy some stuff from them in german language since their albums in english language (Romancing.. & Fantasy) are rather expensive. I think the FANTASY album is reproduced 1:1 with the same songs just in english language from the german album with the same title "Fantasie" while this one is not 1:1 from their german "at best" equivalent (with the same cover) "Traumziel". However, "Every time" was a MAJOR hit in Germany back in '85 calling "Ohne Dich".

My favourite song from the (Münchener) Freiheit is "Keeping the dream alive" (german original: "So lang man Träume noch leben kann") as well. I still can remember the chorus.. "Das große Ziel/war viel zu weit/Für uns're Träume/zu wenig Zeit/Du weißt genau/das irgendwann/ einmal ein Wunder geschehen kann//Versuchen wir es wieder/Solang man Träume noch leben kann" ..those were the days ..sniff.. .. Hey, and listen to the melodious "Tears are the girls best friend" --and be happy again!!

La balada "Baby It's You" ok. 7.7/10

As people mentioned above, nothing 2 do with AOR or High Tech but a very good Pop release..."Every Time" is a wonderful song that has a little but really a little symptom os being AOR structured but when the chorus comes out...surprise! a very poppy one!!!"Play It Cool" is another nice song and "Romancing In The Dark" starts with a crunchy guitar sound but as soon the singer starts 2 tune it...another poppy surprise!!!...well i really like this album and if you are open minded you'll enjoy it.90/100...this album is better than their second release.
