| A German actor singing AOR, not exactly mouth-watering is it? But when you look at the songwriters (Spiro, Huff, Scheff etc) and the producer (Curt Cress) it gets more interesting. This is stunning pure AOR, and I mentioned 4 tracks as covers but 'Affection' is on Mike Reno's CD, & 'I Must be Blind' & 'Mid-Western Skies' I have elsewhere also. 'Cruel Tears' & 'I Must be Blind' are SENSATIONAL AOR with great keys and big production. His 2nd CD 'Girls Crossing' is not as good. AWESOME DISC. 9/10.

| As TIM states, this really is one for the Spiro fans, no less than 8 tracks on here with his credits,some tracks I have before on MS albums some on other artists as TIM mentions - 'Cruel Tears' is on the bonus disc of the Japanese version of Heart's Brigade, 'Midwestern Skies' is on Spiro's own brilliant 'Now Is Then' album. A real treat this for all pure AOR fans. Also of note is 'Girl Crossing'.Two other releases followed, O-Ton & Singer, but these aren't in the same class as the first two.

| Pure AOR - Mark Spiro style. Spiro and Michael Thompson had a big hand in the songwriting on this album and it shows...superb hooks and well thought out arrangements that allow Uwe Ochsenknecht's voice to shone through the material nicely. Personal faourites are Affection, I Must Be Blind and Better With A Broken Heart. Undiscovered or overlooked by many an AOR fan, make no mistake...this one is not just a collection filler. Superbly executed AOR. Reccomended.

| El sonido y estilo del disco es el tipico de solista A.O.R. de los primeros 90,la calidad de los temas pues unas 3/4 partes diria yo que de nivel alto,la lástima para mi es que practicamente todos los buenos temas los habia escuchado ya antes por otros solistas / grupos,(Heart, Mark Spiro,Stephen Bishop, Kansas, Bridge 2 Far...) hay alguno que no conozco es por ello que no me atrevo asegurar que todo los temas del disco se puedan encontrar en otros. Pero bueno lo realmente importante: BUEN AOR.

| CHAMPIONS lo dijo todo asi que no dire mas, eso es lo bueno del AOR los mensajes de bien que transmiten, muchos solo escuchan y no saben apreciar lo que por dentro lleva esta musica, al igual que las peliculas como las de Stallone o Van Damme de lucha de esfuerzo siempre en el camino del bien todo tiene un significado todo por el bien, nunca usen drogas es lo peor que pueden hacer para sentirse bien yo jamas los usare eso si me fumo mi cigarro es algo que hare hasta despues de la muerte.

| Great cd indeed,and the second one who I did consider awful not sounds good to me,far from this one but I could recommend also that one for a cheap price,the title is"Girls crossing".

Wow lovely album indeed...strong cuts(some of them covers) backed up with the almost raucous yet melodic voice of Uwe..."One Man One Heart"(Kansas cover)& "Better With A Broken Heart" are my 2 personal faves but songs such as "Cruel Tears(Heart cover),"If I Had A Wish"(Jason Scheff cover)& "Safe Inside My Love"(nice softy) are gonna draw a  in your face surely...recommended...87/100
