hey...wasn`t this one of the guys from Robby Valentine`s band ? not the best i`ve heard, but an ok cd. His singing skills could have been better. |

This is a nice melodic / AOR disc. There are plenty of great melodic rockers here, even if there are a few average ones. Check out 'How much love' though - very similar to Paul Laine's stunning 'Dorianna', and a very nice tune. Yeah, I'd definately recommend this disc for melodic rock lovers. |

I think it's "Goodbye Lorraine" that sounds like Laine's "Dorianna". Kay has played guitar with Robby Valentine (on the "4 United") as well as other Dutch artists, but here he plays everything himself as well as singing (which is the one thing he probably should've left to someone else). The result is a very good AOR disc, not a million miles from the likes of Zinatra and 1st Avenue, with keys to the fore and some classy tunes. A bassy production and flawed vocals are the only downsides. 8/10. |

Simply AWESOME Melodic Hard Rock/AOR album, seņores cuando se topan con discos de esta magnitud las palabras quedan cortas, obvien el rating que no hace justicia quiza quieren despistar? es de esos discos que se convierten en favoritos a primera escucha How Much Love, Goodbye Lorraine(te gusta Dorianna este es su gemelo), Always, Losin' The Game, After The Love Is Gone, One In A Million... un paquete completo, estilo de fines de los 80's, 9.5/10 si amas esa epoca dorada no lo dudes. |

This is not melodic hard rock, but pure AOR. A lot of nice guitars and keybaords. Not a single weak track on the album, just a strong, well played material, and only good songs. It reminds be about albums like Mark Free - Long way from love, Cliff Magness - solo and TONY MACALPINE - Eyes Of The World album. |

Let's get the Paul Laine comparison out of the way. Yes the opening riff to 'Goodbye Lorraine' is reminiscent of 'Dorianna' but that's where the similarities end. Vocally Vinnie Kay couldn't hold Laine's jock strap and production quality of a average indie release. This is decent AOR with the catchier songs done in by Vinnie Vox. Listen to a sample track on AOR-FM.com before you consider shelling out 30.00+ for this one. |

Killer album!!!...very consistent but obviously with the lacks of a very good production because this is mainly an indie release but still is huge!!!...talking about the tracks,my faves are "Goodbye Lorraine","Always","When The Love Is Gone","Losin' The Game","Here To Stay"(reminds me of FM),"Someday,Somehow" & "After The Love Is Gone"(another FM-ish track)...Vinnie's tone of voice has a close similarity to Steve Overland of FM here and there(probably is the reason that the 2 songs that i appreciated some FM influence were like ones taken from the band itself!)...anyway apart from that issue of FM,this is a really enjoyable album...get it!!!.95/100 |

WTF is this guys problem!? When you sit down and write some of the best aor songs ever (the title track is outstanding, but some of the others are also really god) you can't just grab the mic yourself if you aint got a voice god enough! This could have been a real classic with a perfect voice. |

One of the best releases of AOR of the 90's that back to the best sounds of the 80's. Great Keyboards, melodies and chorus. Classic album, essential in the collection of all AOR lovers. All tracks are awesome..."How much love", "Goodbye Lorrain" that remember to "Dorianna" of Paul Laine. "Losin' The Game", "One In A Million", "After The Love Is Gone"... 89/100 |
