An album that was highly recommended to me, so managed to track a copy down ,although it was not easy. Listened to it a good few times, then immediately sold it again. Absolutely nothing to recommend about this one - completely hopeless. No good songs or hooks, and a very average band in general. A real dissapointment at the time, but made some good money on it, so wasn't a complete waste. AVOID. |

This was labelled as the "American hard rock super group in some of the rock magazines......Big names of the American rock scene reportedly joined together in this mysterious project to produce a thrilling "power of real hard rock!". The only evidence produced was a small photo with the line-up. Needless to say all the musicians wore sunglasses so no one could tell for sure who they were. The album became a subject of much controversy. 'Red Rose', one of the best ballads ever written in hard rock, became a hit in Japan. Unfortunately, the album remained virtually unknown outside the country. |

Was just going through my album collection of albums, and listening to stuff I have no listened to in ages, and I spotted this one. Now looking at the reviews above I have to agree with Jez on how poor this album is. And as for Delbert, I also agree that the reason I picked this up is there was all this hype about it being a supergroup, and bands like Warrant and Danger Danger were thrown around if I remember correctly. When I got it, I did not recognise one single band members name. As for the songs, I have to disagree with Delbert here. Not only is the ballad Red Rose pretty naff, but I am glad it remained virtually unknown outside Japan as it does not deserve to get that much exposure. Dull boring songs, with absolutely no life to them. Not the worst album ever, but defo a cure for insomnia |
