To state it simply, this album is pretty awesome... maybe even better than Harry's solo disc. 'No sign of life' is just spectacularly wonderful, and 'Say you will' and 'Where you want me to be' are killer melodic hard rockers. There are big melodies, hooks and catchy choruses and fans of the 2nd Rubber disc (Though this is more melodic) will appreciate it, as will Harem Scarem fans. Very good disc.

No prizes for guessing who's been at the ratings on this one? There are quite a few modern rock albums that tread the fine line between modern rock and MHR/AOR; 7 and the Sun, Taxiride, 9 Days, Something Corporate, Attraction 65 etc. This one tops that list, no doubt, and manages to sound modern but still contain the big hooks. The title-track and "No Sign of Life" are just genius songwriting with haunting melodies and such powerful vocals. Anyone who doesnt love this is beyond saving. 9.5/10.

I bought this and thought it was terrible. Modern rock with an alternative sound. Nothing like the Harem Scarem. Stay away from this one.

I must say that this is a bloody great album. No filler in sight. Pete's vocals might not be up to the standard of Hess, but the songs are strong throughout. Hooks and melodies are in abundance and whilst the sound is slightly more modern than HS, fans of the band will love it, esp the likes of 'Life Goes On', 'Where You want me', 'Upside Down' and 'Boy Without a Clue'. My faves though are 'Skeleton Tree' and 'Down in It'. Class stuff indeed.
