A decent rock album, but not very heavy. This recording has Lanny Cordola written all over it. Ransom's first record was straight up glam metal. The guitars are given a goofy sound on some of these songs and there are other Cordola influences here (like sitars on many songs - a Cordola trademark). All that being said, there are some decent songs here. Tracks 3, 5, and 8 are the best IMO.

This is a great album. IMO not as good as the first, but still a keeper. Oz Fox of Stryper plays with them on Sister Blue.

Ransom was a staple of my early christian rock experience. Lisa Faxons vocals was one of the only female fronted sounds that was not cheesy but strong and precise. Not to mention she was very easy on the eyes.

Not as good as the first self titled release, but tracks 3, 5 & 8 are definitely the best of the 10 track cd. Still it's overall pretty decent, and worth getting.

IMO this one is much more better, mature and various than the debut.I like this cd,solid hard rock with some glam influence, too.Maybe it's less melodick than debut but better to me.Recommended cd.8/10.

Oh man, do I love 'Windows of my heart'! What a song, worth the price alone. Stellar peice of melodic rock. The rest of the album has it's ups and downs. A few good melodic rockers, some solid hard rockers. I like it. Best thing is, I suspected there might be christian elements, but did not know for sure until the very last song. Discreet... I like it. Good female fronted melodic rock band. I should also say, some awful backing vocals too. They sound horrid on some songs, but good album anyway.

Not as consistent as the band's self titled debut...still some Harlow/Saraya influence here and there...my faves are "Windows Of My Heart"(AOR feel),"Prayer Asylum","Only The Just Let Go" & "Watching Over Me"...decent release...84/100

I see that "meatlhead1" mentioned the Stryper connection stating that Oz Fox played some guitars on "Sister Blue". To me the vocals sound quite a bit like Michael Sweet on "Windows of My Heart". That song sounds very Stryper-ish. I am really liking this album.
