If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Quiet Riot CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Quiet Riot are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Great early Quiet Riot featuring a very young Randy Rhoads. All those years I though Metal Health was the first album from these guys. it wasn't until about 1992 I found out different. This was only released on vinyl from what I know. I got a very good copy on CD off the internet. Watch ebay and the QRI and QRII will pop up once in a while. Great to have just for nostalgia reasons! 8/10

Is the song "Tin Soldier" on this the same as the Small Faces song? I know Kevin DuBrow was a huge Steve Marriott fan.

Yes it is. And Glad All Over is originally recorded by The Dave Clark Five. Really energetic songs. I hope Quiet Riot I and II will be released officially some day. Somebody else thinks different, but if you ask from me, all songs are great. The Randy Rhoads Years album is also worth to check. This is really one of my favorite CDs. 10/10.

From this album,"It's Not not Funny" was released as a single.I still remember when I bought this single at the local records shop when I was 16 years old.I also do remember there was a big poster on the wall of the records to promote the first album.

Get Your Kicks is about as riotous as it gets when a band tries to pass off the hokiest, cheesiest lyrics as a serious work of art. I damned near pissed myself laughing when DuBrow started in with the "rock rock rockin' (wooooo)". Jeezus pleezus, if anyone can listen to that heaping helping of fromage with a straight face, they must've had a humorectomy at some point. It sounds like KISS helped them out with that line, and even a truly lousy lyricist like Ron Keel would probably reject such awful dreck. "Rock rock rockin' (wooooo)" indeed. ROTFLMOA.
