2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update

Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses. The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.

Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.

Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

Lyrically: Yes, unfortunately, sadly, we are without doubt living in such crazy upside down times even Mr Orwell had a hard time to imagine, so "End of Days" has brutal meaning. https://www.christianity.com/wiki/end-times/what-does-the-bible-say-about-the-end-of-the-world.html As an album, it's a grower, you need to give it several spins. Production awesome, as always with Stryper, Mike is 61 and at his age, there are VERY FEW with his capabilities, impressive. Also post-surgery, and besides he is productive like no other. Stryper has an amazing streak of solid albums, and where many get soft with age (not necessarily a bad thing), Stryper gets heavier! This is an amazing metal album and as said, sound is PERFECT to my ears! Man, what a sad state world's in. But in these challenging times, rock is more important than ever and Mike knows it. You can FEEL it in the lyrics. This rock solid Christian band has had so many trials (and tribulations), also an indication of who's in charge...

Such a good album, totally love it! Have listened to it in my car for several days, and all songs are great. A very consistent and high quality recording. Hat's off to this very cool and proud Christian band. Michael says the big bands don't want to tour with them. What they have against a Christian metal band, so good as Stryper is, is silly. But when it comes to Mötley, I am sure Nikki, and certainly Vince, do not want to be 'compared' to Perry Richardson or Michael Sweet. Mötley sells way more tickets, sure, but as far as quality goes, not even in the same league. Even pop metal heroes Poison played the ass off the Crüe during their tour. I was not expecting this good an album, but "When We Were Kings" is totally rockin'! Give it several spins, and chances are you'll love it too.

Just insane that 60 years old Michael can scream this powerful yet, what a TALENT. Also a great lead player, as is Oz, bless Oz from his illness. Perry great addition, he was great in FireHouse, now in Stryper and has a very good backing voice that is powerful to this band and necessary. Robert, this guy needs to introduction. Except for his obsession, since he was a little kid, with Yellow+Black he-he he has always been a very hard-hitting good solid awesome rock drummer, and is said already by some other fan at HH he has always made sure his drums sound killer and everyone knows that a sucky drum sound can kill the momentum of any great rock album, so his perfection of this art is a major asset for this lovely BAND, going for the truth whereas satanic bands can enjoy their afterlife at a warm place where they will need no clothes at all. And that will not be sunbathing and fun. Hell's real, but our Lord will do the judging. And that is SOON, people. Rock on!
