What a classic. This one takes me back. These guys were great. Check it out on;y after some research if you have never heard them.

From: Drag-in-Bones Date: April 2, 2002 at 9:06
Well Obviously no buxom, half-clad babes dancing in any of there vids and to leave my more sleaze glam attitude behind and try to rate them for what they stand for I would have to give them a 6:50 and say please try not to hate me!I would like to say I dedicated "My Love I'll Always Show" to my wife and it was played at our wedding.I have this album in Blue Vynle

From: Brett Date: April 15, 2002 at 10:32
STRYPER completely ROCKS!!!!!!!!! Through their 5 (plus Greatest Hits) cd, they never released an even mediocre song! Every track on every cd is INCREDIBLE! They were even better live - hopefully they will comeback someday!

From: Cephas Date: April 20, 2002 at 18:36
This is a pretty good Metal CD. Not bad for a first effort. Some of the opening riffs ("Reason for the Season", "From Wrong to Right", "Co'Mon Rock") are killers which lead into good, hook-filled songs. I must say, I like this more than IGWT or ATL. Stryper isn't as glammed out as on IGWT. In fact, despite the CD's explicit title none of the band members is pictured in his usual yellow & black outfit. Wonder why? Not a classic of Hair Metal; but,a must-have for Stryper fans.

Ya en este disco se les veia maneras,un Heavy Metal ultra melodico pero con guitarras lo suficientemente afiladas.BUEN DISCO.

From: Steve F. Date: February 8, 2003 at 22:30
A good first album from the group. It's probably their most honest effort, pretty raw and in-your-face. The lyrics are pretty cheesy, but that's the 80's for you. Highly recommended.

From: Ernest Date: March 2, 2003 at 20:02
It's strange why they print some of the albums with different covers. This album use to have different and definatly better cover.

From: toni girona Date: March 26, 2003 at 0:53
Que arpegio tan guapo tiene la canción My love i'll always show. Un buen aperitivo para los proximos albumes.

I'm just looking for the stryper song that was really popular in the 80's,they use to play it on the radio all the time can someone please help me???????

From: Scandinavia Date: September 20, 2003 at 8:27
To DANA: I think you're searching for the song "Honestly" from the album "To Hell With The Devil"...As far as I recall it was their major MTV hit...

From: Jay Date: November 16, 2003 at 4:27
I am seeing stryper next week in Boston!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!

From: Fat Freddy Date: December 30, 2003 at 15:39
I have a dream... that someday Stryper will reissue this album on CD with its original cover and original mix, with the "Reason For The Season/Winter Wonderland" cassette single tracks tacked on as bonuses.... until then I will continue to play my ancient cassette copy which is now hanging by a thread after 20 *gulp* years of use and abuse...

From: Scandinavia Date: December 31, 2003 at 13:14
To Fat Freddy...It was actually re-issued on CD some years ago...Can't remember which label. But the "Winter Wonderland" single wasn't included...

From: Fat Freddy Date: December 31, 2003 at 21:38
Scandinavia.. are we talking about the ORIGINAL album cover (not the one shown on this site, the one with the missiles headed towards a "Stryped" earth, and without "My Love I'll Always Show?" I've never seen that version of the album on CD. I'm told it exists but only in Japan and it's been OOP for years. Stryper's website sez it's the rarest Stryper CD. I wish they'd re-release it!

From: Scandinavia Date: January 1, 2004 at 16:52
Oh sorry on that...No it's not the "missile" cover...

From: byrdman69 Date: January 26, 2004 at 11:25
This is my favorite Stryper release of them all. The songs are very good, and I really like the lyrics. Although "To Hell With The Devil"was more commercial, this one is just as good musically. Best songs are "You Know What To Do","Loving You", and "You Won't Be Lonely".....Overall I give it an 8/10..Good Stuff!

This and "Soldiers" are my favorites. Now if they just could've recorded them with the production standards of their later albums, THAT would've rocked!

From: Tocallo Date: March 17, 2004 at 17:07
Es un buen disco, con melodias muy buenas como ,You Know What to Do y loving you, con muy buen ritmo de guitarras.

From: figgy Date: March 23, 2004 at 5:18

From: andrew Date: September 19, 2004 at 21:10
michael sweet has a great voice, i strongly recommend tjis album. if u want more of good hard rock and heavy, listen to 7800 fahrenheit bon jovi, ram it down judas priest, and skid row skid row.

From: Geoff Date: September 20, 2004 at 0:25
'You won't be lonely' is a cool commercial rocker, and 'Reason for the season' would be okay if it wasn't so amazing gay in it's delivery. It's a weak album, but decent I guess. Not a fave.

From: Great Dane Date: November 9, 2004 at 4:24
Uhh. I dont like the music and I really dont like the message. Christian Music.....HUH.Who believes in that shit.? God created it all 3700 years ago, but the Dinosaurs ruled millions of years ago. Whoaaaa, what happened. Well I guess its a load of shit.

From: Andii Vamp Date: December 2, 2004 at 0:30
After having just got all my Stryper collection again in CD format(My old Vinyls from years ago are a bit scratchy now lol!), i have to say that this stuff still sounds great today just like it did all those years ago. I have always been and always will be a massive fan of this band!!! And Michael's solo stuff kicks arse too! Stryper were one of the best... and still are.

From: Date: March 9, 2005 at 20:58
Wow-Great Dane I sure feel sorry for you and your soul! God created the world before time could be even measured-where did you pull 3700 years from? By the way dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible itself and Stryper rocks from the start! Hope they still rock like this on their new album...

From: KISS Date: May 11, 2005 at 6:30
Kind of like def leppard meets quiet riot or white lion meets europe or whatever, except it have chritian and godly lyrics instead of talking about girls, sex and rockn'n'roll. Michael swwet's voice sounds a lot like dennis deyoung of styx. This album was preety conssitent-the guitar attack(solo and riifs),the vocals and the songs. The rocker and faster songs are good but the ballads are too poppy and sugary for my taste, just like all the other stryper ballad like honestly or together as one. 8.5/

From: stryper Date: June 15, 2005 at 18:09
god bless stryper.cos michael is the man.forget about what they sing about for gods sake lol.this band are the biz.full stop.jessica96fish.favourite band ever.

HELLO(CZ)MARK-T.YOU PUT SIX TIMES THE SAME MESSAGE.WHAT A JOKE TO BELIEVE THAT ALL ALBUMS FROM STRYPER ARE MAGICAL.10/10,ALL,ARE YOU SURE?WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT DOKKEN,Y&T,BLUE MURDER,,LILLIAN AXE,ALCATRAZZ,BADLANDS,MR.BIG,ETC.THAT THEY'RE CRAP?

From: Nix Date: November 11, 2006 at 6:32
I love all the songs on here except one, which is OK I guess and that's track 3, which wasn't even on the original album. The low budget sound quality could put people off, but the talent is there. 'Loving You' would be my personal favorite from this album. Great EP.

From: metalalways Date: February 12, 2007 at 1:36

From: Rycheage Date: February 24, 2008 at 10:03
Not my fave but good nonetheless. I like "My Love I'll Always Show" and "Reason For The Season". The rest are just above average.

From: Mustaine_TW Date: August 29, 2008 at 12:53
"My Love I'll Always Show" best rock ballad ever.

From: rockhardrock Date: January 2, 2011 at 16:52
this band released pure gem of 80s metal in 1986, this was to hell with the devil. their debut, this record here, is far from being great-i don't mean the lyrics, but the production and playing of instruments.but never the less it has some gems:from wrong to right, my love I'll always show, you know what to do.

From: halfordhughes Date: April 23, 2011 at 12:05
From Wrong to Right & Co'Mon Rock !!!

From: hair metal again Date: April 21, 2014 at 15:14
excellent debut for STRYPER and from the start you could see they had evrything needed to succeed!powerful and highvocals, heavy riffs ,big choruses ,commercial side &long hair is all over and STRYPER show their potential!"you know what to do","you wont be lonely" are the highlights !essential for hard rockers
