The 1st compilation album for these Christian metal legends. Like the recent "Best of 7," this collection featured 2 new songs, both very much in the STRYPER tradition. Track listings on compilations are never perfect, but this one features a good collection of tunes, so not too much to complain about there. Some people have called STRYPER a joke but it's kind of hard to argue with their unprecedented crossover success. They rocked for the Rock and did it in fine fashion.

Too many slow tunes and not enough hard rockers. Seven (their newest album) is a better compilation.

Stryper is TOURING in 2003. Check the official website for details.

You're right, Sebs Fox. Some songs are great, but don't have the "power" I was looking for. Some songs are strong, like TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL, FREE, IN GOD WE TRUST, and SOLDIERS UNDER COMMAND. I have this album for just those songs. Their new BEST OF: compilation have more and better songs, I can't wait to get that one.

Have to agree with a few comments above. Too much wimpy stuff, but definitely worth the $2 I paid for it. Especially since all of my Stryper is on vinyl except for this one...

Hey, were is the NEW best of CD "SEVEN"? When are you going to list it? And don't forget that STRYPER is also going to be releasing a "LIVE" CD soon aswell. By the way you also forgot the first version of "THE YELLOW AND BLACK ATACK" that was a 6 song EP.

This is worth it just for "Believe" and "Can't Stop The Rock".

Aceptable Recopilatorio. 8.5/10

An essential compilation for all the Stryper fans, perhaps quite short of songs and more ballads than rocker ones but still effective to catch attention of the public.90/100

I can't listen to Together As One anymore. But, apart from that song I like this album. I can handle Homestly just cause of the guitar. Just. I love the two inclusions of Lady and Two Bodies from the seriously underrated Against The Law album. The neew tracks ate great. Can't Stop the Rock has a dirty boogie feel, and Believe is one of those massive ballads like Free. But I like Stryper most for their rockers. Being a hardcore fan means I have to have this for the two tracks. Grade A without Together As One (B if I have to listen to it again).
