Not the best, but great cd!! Listen to "Queen of hearts"(Fantastic song!), "Soldier´s gun", "Ten tons", "Left foot boogie", "Way of the world" or "Shout". Good melodies, good Aor band. jsmnavarro@lycos.com

This is good stuff, but really sounds horribly dated these days. They reworked "Left Foot Boogie" for the "Stripped" album (no idea why?) and it sounds a whole load better. The first 2 tracks are excellent, and this is probably a more consistent album that "Commando's" but the sound just doesn't cut it. "While the Bombs are Falling" would've been my prime choice for a re-work... 7.5/10.

This cd is now available at www.cdon.dk for approx. 10 Dollars. Don't know if it's an original pressing though, Maybe some of my fellow Danes here at this site knows.

It seems so Kristian. I have the CD here in front of me and there's no indication of it being a re-issue or anything.

Very"poor"release, too far from their"s.t"masterpiece.only 2/3 great songs, the rest is very boring.I'm waitin'that"Grappa recordings"do permission to re-issue"commandos"cd but I think they are dead ahahahahahahahahaha!!!

A very good debut album from this super-talanted trio led by AOR-mastermind Torstein Flakne. This is their most rockin' release, but also with lots of melodies. Many good songs, out of which Queen of hearts, Soldier's gun, Shout, Ten tons of rock 'n' roll and Left foot boogie are among the best. I'd easily give it 90 out of 100, it's a classic!!

"Queen of Hearts" y "Soldier's Gun" de lejísimos las mejores de este disco de Rock/AOR, el resto muy decente pero no malo tampoco. "Way of the World" y "Photograph" tambien agrada. 7.5/10

Muy lejos de su siguiente, y en mi opinión, mejor disco: COMMANDOS

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 26, 2012 at 20:01
Pretty darling debut, not a killer one but good enough to past the test of the so called "famous debut albums effect"...for me the highlights in here are "Queen Of Hearts" that opens the album in a nice but "quiet" way and followed by the catchy ones of "Soldier's Gun" & "Left Foot Boogie" then comes the cool one "Photograph" and to finish the movie with we have what i considered the best song of this release "Shout"...in general lines a worthy one to have...85/100

Not a very special album, even somewhat uninspired, no highlights here, but... much better was on its way in the years to come!
