Damn fine recording from this group. Jen's voice on "Baby Blue" was emotive and downright marvelous. "Trouble In Paradise" was a kicker for sure. Overall, a highly underrated act with loads of talent. Anybody got any more info about 'em? lemme know please! johnnyrocker@hotmail.com

I just listened to this album the other day, and I was taken aback by how damn good it was!! Excellent female vocals, very good musicianship, and just a solid heavy rock/blues offering from these guys. I was also smitten with Jeni as a young man, when I used to see the video for Trouble In Paradise on MTV in the good ol' days. Where did they go? I want them back!

The guitar work is just awesome and it's a shame these guys weren't recognized more. Great vocals women or not, doesn't come across as gimmicky at all and the songs are really stong. If you can get ahold of this get it for sure as it's not one of those "listen to it once and never take it out again" cd's. I actually learned to play guitar because of this cd!!

I don't know a whole lot about this band, but I know the song Trouble In Paradice. I really like this chicks voice. It sound so strong, Very powerful! I hear some people around this site say that the chick from Femme Fatale has the best voice for that time. I have to say that Jeni Foster has the best of all the girls of the late '80's. Even better than Sandy Saraha and WAY better than Lita Ford.

Have you tried Ebay? I already sold my copy or I would have helped you out. Either myself or some of the other guys could get you one. It normally goes for $20 but someone might make you a deal. JLPRocks or MetalManiac could probably get you one. I could get one from surrf or kissmydisc but it would take some time.

You have to have money to put more time into a record. Poison's albums kick these guys asses despite the production. This record sucked in my opinion.

I can never go crazy over this band or album. Though it is not that bad, it still lack the excitement that I'm looking for in a metal band. But I really enjoyed South St. Kids. It has this crazy poetry(?) in it. The guitar playing can get wild at times which is very good. They sound so much like Rock City Angels.

God DAMN, I thought I was the only one who remembered this album...glad to be proven wrong! I loved this disc, and was disappointed that they disappeared seemingly as soon as it was released. Jeni Foster had a great voice and the band had the grimy, bluesy, Aerosmith/G&R thing down pat. They should've gone a lot farther. I just found this CD used for 99 cents so I could finally send my old cassette copy off to a well deserved rest!

The GREATEST voices from a female fronted late 80s band is surely of Ann & Nancy Wilson !! ..but I would like to give the "Pang's" a try too..

This was a very underrated band. One of my favorites for sure. Now that most of the band is back together (hoping to get some material from them soon), I must ask... what is Ms. Foster doing these days? And why the hell aren't there many Pang fansites out there?

I saw this band back in '89 or '90 open for Mr. Big and they were great. I had never heard of them at that time, but bought this the same night and have enjoyed it many times over the years. Sad this is their only release.

I'm personally not a fan of this disc, as many seem to be. I think 'Trouble in paradise' is a great hard rocker and overall the disc is not that bad, but I don't like the vocals at all and most the songs didn't really take me by the balls. And I like to be taken by the balls... if the lady is nice. Average release, IMO.

Dressing like refugees from the Cathouse didn't make this band sound any less like a bad 4 Non Blondes knockoff. The potential sex gimmick of having a chick singer is torpedoed in this case by a disheartening lack of good looks. Woof!

Many persons back in the day were really enthusiastic about this act and album...for me is a little bit more than a decent one(there a better women front bands out there with better releases than this one IMHO)..."Trouble In Paradise" was the hit single of the album but is not my cup of tea so i rather go for these ones:"South St Kids","No Reason To Cry","Scream And Shout","China Doll","Too Much Too Soon"(with a completely The Black Crowes feel in it),"Any Way You Want It" & "I'm Not Payin'"(Did somebody call Guns & Roses???)...83/100

hum i respect of course, but i m very surprise about the different coments about this record.for me it s a very very average female fronted hard rock band.not a bad record but really absoluty nothing extraordinary.this band play is a poor hard rock n roll affair.when i listen this cd i feel nothing.the singer have a great voice ok but nothing spectacular.she is far far away from goddess like ann wilson for example.not for me.mediocre stuff.

Took a long time to get a copy of this gem of an album. But it was worth it. As everyone has mentioned, this is a female-fronted hard rock band. But, it is no gimmick. She is an excellent singer. The songs on this album are very varied and no-one could accuse them of sounding the same track by track. Interestingly, the band is half Swedish and half American. I'm not sure why they only made the one disc, but it is a fine album they could be proud of making. Top tracks are: Trouble in Paradise (which was the single), South St. Kids (catchy as hell) and Baby Blue. Rated A

They only made one album because very few people bought it. And they were on Metal Blade, a smaller label that didn't really have much experience with this type of commercial hard rock. "Trouble In Paradise" got some very light MTV play, but except for being female-fronted, they just didn't stand out. On paper, Saraya did a bit better with a similar sound, with a top-ten on the Mainstream Rock charts, and both singles making the bottom half of the Hot 100—but they too were ultimately forgotten. (They at least made a follow-up, but it sank without a trace.) I just remember "Trouble In Paradise” as being one of those videos, like "Beat The Bullet" by Vain or "Sleepin' My Day Away" by D.A.D., that you saw a couple times on Hard 30 (sort of a lightweight, afternoon version of Headbanger's Ball) during the fall of 1989, that just didn't take hold.

This was one of my absolute favorite albums in high school. Blues based hard rock is probably my favorite type of music and this one has it in Spades. It's also dripping with attitude and Jeni Foster's ballsy vocals. I really wish she had done more because she was one of the best singers I've ever heard on top of being exceptionally beautiful.
