They still got it after all this year. This cd needs a few rounds in your player but when the songs get to you you 're lost. This German band kicks the ass of Scorpions and in my opinion Bonfire is the greatest German melodic rock band and highly underestimated. All albums of them kick ass (start with Fire Works)

Bonfire caught the Lynyrd Skynyrd bug BIG TIME on 'Rebel Soul' and there's even more Yankee doodle dandy on the inferior 'Fuel to the Flames'. This is not a good place to start building your Bonfire collection. Try 'Fireworks'... it's much better. This is just a band trying to be something it's not. 'Heat in the Glow' is the only song I can honestly recommend on this lacklustre outing.

Bonfire IS the best hardrock band at this date. They never did any trendy or made any experimental fixes on their albums like a lot of loser hardrock bands did/cutting their hair a.s.o. Bonfire still kix ass in the true sence so if anybody disagrees maybe you should try hip hop instead....FUCK OFF!!!!!!

Bonfire is a tremendous group. They are still putting out music as it should be! It's hard, but very melodic and a pleasure to listen to. They stuck to their hard rock roots. These new American bands should take a listen to what real rock sounds like. Thank goodness there are still groups like this one who are still putting out good hard rock, and not alterna-crap! If you're not familiar with these guys, check em out. You won't be dissapointed!

I think this album is one of the best from them.. every track kicks ass!! My favourites are 'Life after love' and 'Break down the walls' but, really EVERY song on this CD is great!By far, I think this one is better than Strike X . Only Fireworks and Point Blank are a bit better..

This is as solid as you could hope for or expect. One of the best Bonfire albums I have heard, plenty of songs and big hooks, choruses and melodies. This is also pure European hard rock, so if you are from Europe or like that sound then this album would have to be considered for adding to your collection.

Neben Point Blank mein weiteres Favoriten-Album. Gro'artige Leistung, Bonfire mal wieder in H'chstform. Hypermelodi's, wie immer. Und die Balladen sind auch wieder vom Feinsten.

Is this the same band that did 'the sword and stone' from the movie 'SHOCKER' soundtrack????I lost the cd and I think its out of print.

The best Bonfire CD since 'Knock out', perhaps even better than that one though not as good as the near-perfect 'Fireworks' and 'Point blank' albums. Still, a great CD and wonderful to see they still have it in them. Killer CD!

Avoid track 09 by all means possible--these guys didn't even write stuff that stupid in the mid-80's. Most of 'Fuel To The Flames' is pretty solid stuff, however. 'Goodnight, Amanda' is the only real ballad on this record and the extended version on the Japanese cd is nice, but really not worth spending the extra dough unless you're a hardcore fan. For the most part, this is just a good rock album not bogged down by slower numbers. Still, I find 'Strike X' to be quite better than this 'FTTF'.

One of the best melodic hard rock bands in the business. After all these years, these guys still know how to fire up the guitars and kick out some killer tunes. This is fuel for the rock-starved soul, chock-full of all the requisite ingredients: loud guitars, big hooks, sing-along choruses, & clean vocals. No, this isn't as good as 'Fireworks' or 'Point Blank,' but can we honestly expect them to top their two masterpieces? Face it, a band is rarely perfect more than once in their career...

the biggest german band hits again!wonderful cd,great songs ,nice atmosphere.not as hair metal as "point blank" or "fireworks" but straight enough.bonfire are proud of their country and we are proud of them

More interesting than the previous "Rebel Soul" one a 100%...my faves are "Daytona Nights"(wonderful!),"Don't Go Changing Me"(catchy),"Sweet Home Alabama"(excellent cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd),"Rebel Pride","Goodnight Amanda"(nice & catchy),"Break Down The Walls" & "Can't Stop Rocking"(rocks!)...recommended...89/100

maybe not the best and more brilliant bonfire s record.ok but a very mature and consistant record.with bonfire it s always the same pleasure ,only good songs ,no weak point.essential disc for all fans of german melodic rock.impossible to be disapointed.and the ice on the cake we discover in this album that claus lessmann is fan of lynyrd skynyrd.he have good taste!!!!
