A mellow outing for the most part, but quite smooth and consistant. If you're a bonfire fan don't hesitate to add this one to your collection.

Pay Attention! Same Album was released in german language called 'FREUDENFEUER' as limited Edition (same Songs. A part of this Songs in German were released some years ago on a Album called 'Lessmann/ZillER). But all in all, in english and german it's a good album

This is not the Bonfire we've grown to know and love. Mostly acoustic album with few hooks and a complete lack of the big songs Bonfire are known for. Dissapointing.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: September 18, 2005 at 21:25
Some fans hated this CD when it came out, 'cause the melodic hard rock band we'd grown to love had gone mellow & acoustic. Still, this keeps the Bonfire feel, just in a more laid-back style. For example, there are still some catchy hooks & memorable songs, they just aren't as explosive as they were before. So, if you're a hard rock fan, this CD probably won't make you feel like comin' in your pants, but it's still a fine example of a hard rock band making the acoustic approach work for them.

excellent release by BONFIRE back in mid 90s.things are slower now but if you listen well there are many hooks and huge melodies and the songs are very catchy.no mega hits in it ,but many high quality ones .could nt see it clearly back then ,but"feels like comin home" is a very good bonfire release

Partially in agreement with Geoff and metalmaniac777 coments but for me it was a fine album...is another story in here...my faves are "Easy Come Easy Go","Back To You"(nice & catchy),"Say"(nice & catchy),"Right Now"(nice, liked it a lot),"Whenever You Cry"(nice) & "Can't Wait"...mellow songs,a lack of real rocking tracks ala old Bonfire style but the album could be easily targeted as pleasant to say the least...87/100

hum we are far far from fireworks and point blank (two atomic bombs).this record is a big deception for me cause it is very average and too too much acoustic.where is the brilliant hard rock from bonfire?

From: dany69 Date: February 22, 2019 at 17:52
Well,,it,s just sad that some peoples,,but i respect the opinion !! some can't understand that a band need something new,,,,something more mature,,,,,than all the times the same things,,and that is what about BONFIRE PRETTY MAIDS,,,,and this album is just wonderful,,,, but of course that is not Fire Works and Point Blank but so great to listin,,,, a big 8 on 10,,,,
