If you notice that a particular Bonfire CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Bonfire are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Biggest surprise of the year. Was ready to write this band off completely after they got yet another new singer after just one album with David Reece. Opening track "Power Train" certainly feels like something straight from the early days of the band. And the quality keeps up throughout most of the album. Perhaps most noteworthy is how heavy it is. Certainly feels more like heavy metal here and there rather than the melodic rock the band is known for. Suppose that will turn some people off. Personally I love it. The band feels re-energized in a good way.The album could have been shorter, though. There are some unneccessary stuff toward the end of the album; Friedensreich, Instrumetal and why having Sweet Obsession on it again whn they had it on the previous album?

This is the heaviest I remember Bonfire ever sounding. They still retain plenty of melody though and there are several songs that should appeal to long time fans. I think the change at vocalist is a good move. While I think David Reece is a good singer and enjoyed Glorious, his vocal style just didn't seem like a good fit with the band. I could do without the Jethro Tull cover and another version of Sweet Obsession, but all in all this is a pretty good album. My score is 82/100

Good new singer and a pretty nice album ...fave ones for me are tracks 1, 2,3(probably the best cut of the Record),7(good Jethro Tull cover) & 9...85/100
