very Good Ozzy album. Great Guitar, thanks Zakk!!! The song Dreamer is a great Ozzy Ballad, almost JOURNEYish.

From: M. Allen Date: January 10, 2002 at 12:58
I've never understood why Ozzy is so highly rated. His voice is droning and monotonous. Sure, he's one of the founding fathers of heavy metal, and I guess he deserves thanks for that, but that doesn't mean I have to like him, and I don't. About the only good thing I can say about his latest album (which a friend forced me to listen to) is that it has some nice, beefy guitars. But in my opinion, an album needs more than heavy guitars to make it good.

From: koogles Date: January 11, 2002 at 6:53
"Dreamer" is a blatant ripoff of John Lennon's "Imagine". But it's enjoyable, which is more than most of this CD. Let's face it: Ozzy's going through the paces. His weakest CD to date.

From: Rycheage Date: January 11, 2002 at 20:51
Not on a par with "No More Tears", but is enjoyable nonetheless. "Gets Me Through" and "Dreamer" highlight this disc.

From: street talk Date: January 14, 2002 at 23:23
I never liked Ozzy in Black Sabbath but his solo stuffs are excellent, except this one... it sucks real bad! Please retire Ozzy, and let Iommi work with Hughes instead. I don't want to see you fronting Black Sabbath again.

From: Wadelink Date: January 15, 2002 at 16:54
THIS WAS A DISSAPOINTMENT

From: ozzman Date: February 27, 2002 at 14:22
this album wasn,t the best but i still wouldn't want to see ozzy retire and his stuff with black sabbath was some of his best work so fuck you street talk.

From: Iggy-freud Date: February 27, 2002 at 16:46
Zakk publicly de-nounced this album and has basically said it sux.Zakk almost didnt play guitar on this album at all and he was asked -almost "dictated" to play things in a certain way on most songs.Look at how many outsiders were used on every aspect of this album-shame OZZY shame! Those are blasphemous words "streetalk" you are not worthy -only worthy of an ass kicking!! but lets face it your just plain stupid.

From: Dorucia Lescell Date: March 15, 2002 at 9:50
well ozzy u have shown ur emotional side! great album, c ya at ozzfest uk!

From: David Date: April 7, 2002 at 7:39
I think Ozzy and Zakk really show there best song writing ability to date. This album has made me gain alot more respect for the two. I got this album in hope because I thought drugs had really got to Ozzy, but what a pleasant surprise! Good work boys!

From: Motley Date: May 21, 2002 at 15:59
the worst fuckin OZZY release ever. i t fuckin stinks. Where have the feeling gone and why the hell did you bring alle the xperimetns into this one? Noway this a closed chapter for me-OZZY LIVE was the last great release from the MADMAN. I really hate when bands xperiment this crappy way. Suchs suchs suchs suchs suchs suchs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Swedish rocker Date: May 27, 2002 at 17:12
When Ozzmosis came out, I was a huge Ozzy fan. But that CD was so much worse than No More Tears, and today I'm not that great fan anymore. However, I bought this last record only to find that it's even worse than Ozzmosis. Seems like the old man is traveling on The Road To Nowhere... Make a U-turn, Ozzy!

From: Desslar Date: May 28, 2002 at 16:24
Another inexplicably low rating. Come on, this is Ozzy!! So he's updated his sound and it's not as solid as past outings, nevertheless there are no bad songs here and a few cool numbers. Could have been much better, but hey, you can only ask so much from someone who nearly has one foot in the grave.

From: Kim. Date: July 19, 2002 at 15:35
All music lovers keep talking about musicians beeing stuck in the ```safe zone`` Well Ozzy isnt. he keeps trying new areas, and have ended up making a great cd. I rate this one very high. He is a unique person in many ways, and this is a GOOD CD.

From: Kim Date: July 19, 2002 at 15:41
Just ```zapped```through this one again. Ita a damn good cd. .....................................and Kelly is a BABE................................................................................................................NOT

Im Alive is a Killer.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: July 19, 2002 at 16:23
Zakk Wylde and his wife Barbaranne just had a baby boy the other day. His name is Hendrix Halen Michael Rhoads Wylde. NO SHIT, thats really his name!

From: David Date: July 19, 2002 at 17:21
So what have we got? Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Bret Michaels? and Randy Rhoads.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: July 19, 2002 at 17:46
I don't know about the Brett Michaels part? Zakk did do a guitar solo on a Britny Fox album and Michael Kelly Smith is the guitar player for that band. So, maybe that is where it comes from????? As far as Hendrix, Halen, and Rhoads, you may be right!

From: Kim Date: July 20, 2002 at 1:32
I have cd by the band Blackfoot, where Zakk Wylde plays on one track. Does anyone know if he has played as guest on other artists releases.??

From: Buster Date: January 8, 2003 at 4:47
This is a pretty ordinary album, it's not shit but it's OK. "Dreamer" really sucks. By the way, the Michael is for Mike Piazza.

From: tom moore Date: January 15, 2003 at 23:10
ozzy ozbourne is the best music in the world i listern to down to earth more than anything i even carry my mp3 player with me to listern to it in school

From: Great Dane Date: January 16, 2003 at 0:20
Cool Tom.

From: Gar Date: January 16, 2003 at 21:15
This is Ozzy going through the motions. Songs are mostly bland and repetitive. A real letdown after the strong OZZMOSIS. I heard that his new live album sucks too.

From: slashh Date: March 4, 2003 at 19:05
this is a good cd so it deserves az least a 7/10

From: Scandinavia Date: June 6, 2003 at 16:20
Well, a few good riffs is all I can find on this album...The rest sux big time! Sure he's not afraid of renewing himself but I thought this man was the actual impersonation of Rock'n'roll...Can't find much here that has anything to do with R'n'R...You can do better Ozzy...Much better...

From: Wolf Date: November 6, 2003 at 6:00
Isn't some good album, but I like some tracks. Besides, I think, that OZZY's voice is not a very nice.

From: XIII Date: March 30, 2004 at 20:38
I'm a big ozzy fan, down to earth, fucking rocks favorite one on that one is Gets Me Through.

From: byrdman69 Date: July 17, 2004 at 11:58
I consider myself a "Huge" Ozzy fan, and I must say this is by far the weak link of the ozzy collection. I like a few tunes, but not like some past releases, when I enjoyed all the songs. Its not horrible, but not real good either,I say 6/10.

From: rockfan Date: December 1, 2004 at 15:04
Ozzy shows one thing. That is you don't have to retire if you're old. Doesn't matter how old is he, he still makes good songs. I don't care if one album has only one good song, I'd get it for that only good song. Not classic level, but this is great!

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 0:04
Ozzman still rocks and this one is no exception. He has always had this uncanny way of recruiting great guitarists, also. Some were better than others but at one point or another they fit the bill.

From: Papa Knows Date: March 9, 2005 at 12:43
Very, very weak... Plese, Zakk, go on with Black Label Society and forget this one. And Ozzy, rest in piece īcuz you already did so much for Metal!

From: TomStavely Date: November 29, 2005 at 18:22
Ozzy's 1ST album since becoming a TV celebrity, its kind of fitting that now everybody knows him and he's on TV and in almost every magazine that he would make this. His worst fucking album ever i love every Ozzy album and every Sabbath one,he's never made a bad one. I CANT BELIVE THIS ALBUM IS IT REALLY OZZY? THE MUSIC IS SO SHIT AND BORING AND THE LYRICS ARE CRAP, WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO ONE OF MY ALLTIME FAVOURITE ARTISTS. IM SO SAD OZZY HAS GONE THIS WAY IN LIFE HE NEEDS TO DUMP HIS WIFE

From: pie75 Date: August 3, 2010 at 9:51
get's me through, facing hell, creamer and junkie i guess are what holds this album up it's not bad but you can see ozzy's running out of ideas and on a downward spiral his life now is about silly shows and whatever sharon says

From: Buitre Date: May 10, 2013 at 2:33
I'm a huge Ozzy fan and I will be thankful for his contribution to music, but I was a little bit disappointed by this one. 60/100

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: May 10, 2013 at 20:43
The dumb, self-referential album title was a warning. Then, all I had to hear was the new, teddy-bear Ozzy sing-songing, "I'm not the type of person you think I amm, I'm not the Antichrist or the Iron Man," on the first single, and I said, "Fuck this noise, man, I'm gone!"

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: May 10, 2013 at 20:46
That, and the widely-reported fact, including from Zakk himself, that he waswas only given freedom on his solos, and that the riffs were otherwise all written for him and he just played them. I remember him bitching at the tiem about how songs were co-written by Dave Grohl and the guy from Offspring.

From: hair metal again Date: May 22, 2014 at 1:45
very good release once again by the madman and top notch commercial heavy music!the guitar work by Zakk is astonishing and one of his best and Ozzy sounds great!this would be a great one if the choruses were more catchy ,otherwise the quality is very high!"no easy way out","that i never had" and "can you hear them" have monsterous riffs and "gets me through" is a tribute to our journey with Ozzy all these years!nice addition to your collection!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 10, 2014 at 20:34
A commercial Ozzy in here, well he's been like that for years now...this release is quite enjoyable and more with that spark of Black Label Society feel included ..."That I Never Had" is my fave...tracks 1,2,3(nice),4 & 8 are also in my "reality show" sorry,in my book of likable ones...88/100
