LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this album. (For me to rate it #1 of the year and Butch Walker released an album the same year, you know it has to be good.) These guys combine old school sounds (KISS, early Aerosmith) with newer updated sounds (STP, Soundgarden). 2 different vocalists give it a nice balance of tunes. Seriously guys, head to the website and give the clips a listen. This is primo stuff (anyway, but especially when you consider what is being released these days!)

These are the guys that opened for KISS/Poison on the VH1 Rock THe Nation tour in the summer of '04. To some pretty rave reviews, so I hear. (I was unable to attend.) I've seen them live twice and they will blow you away.

This is one of the best new cd's in a long time. Who said rock and roll is dead! The outstanding technical skills and vocal harmonies of the two Z brothers, backed by one of the best drummers around, create a fresh new sound in a music scene of boring clones. Check out their website at www.zo2.com, listen to their sound clips, and then get the cd. And if you get a chance to see them live, go! You won't regret it.

Finally rock 'n roll without the death metal dirge. A perfect blend of the best of the old with the best of the new. Let's hear it for the resurgence of the rock star! The ladies want to sleep with them and the guys want to be them. Finally a band to inspire us to want to listen to something new!

Do you like old style Rock and Roll? If you're into that 70's hard rock sound, with splashes of 80's style metal thrown in, you WILL love this album. The instrumental work is phenomenal and the duel vocals work perfectly. So do the harmonies. ZO2 are the best new band to come out in a very long time. Go to the site, check out the songs and buy the album. It is a very worthwhile investment.

I saw this band last summer with Kiss/Poison. I was not expecting them to open, what a great surprise! Great live, but could they do that on the CD? YES. They're talent is amazing and the CD is off the charts. This CD should be in everyone's collection. These guys are hot and they have what rock is missing these days. Thanks ZO2 for putting the fun back in rock!

From: Ellen Date: January 30, 2005 at 18:46

I love that no one can quite classify this or make any obvious comparisons. It's straight ahead rock and roll. I found it through a friend of a friend and haven't stopped rockin' with it yet. Well worth the price of admission!

From: Marlena Date: January 31, 2005 at 16:27

I just picked this one up,I got Ain't It Beautiful first and this one is just as good no let downs. They really remind me of a cross between Grand Funk and Rage Against the Machine with that funky vibe and heavy chunky guitar riffs.I really like the voices as well great harmonies and Paulie got excellent sound.I'm waiting for Casino Logic and almost can't wait,I hope its keeping along the same path but I'm sure I'll like it.Highly recomended 89/100.
