| The 3rd effort from Brooklyn-bred rockers ZO2 comes in 3rd in my book as well. I think, if I had never heard ZO2 before, I would rate this album somewhat higher. However, after being a ZO2 fan from the beginning, I feel they had found a pretty solid niche market within the rock genre. That whole blend of 70's groove mixed win with a modern/alternative rock created 2 great albums in "T&T" and "AIB". "Casino Logic" is a solid album, definitely has its rockin' songs, ballad, etc, but it just doesn't resonate with me like the first two. I feel the lyrics on a few songs are trying too hard to be for "Joe Everyday". The whole 3-vocalist band is gone too; since their IFC show promotes Paulie as lead vocalist, he seems to take over more of that role here. (And not that he's not great, but David and Joey are just as capable too.) Not to put people off; this is a good disc, but it just isn't the ZO2 I grew up on. If this is your first ZO2 experience, you may very well like this.
