If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Sonic X CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Sonic X are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Glad to say this is one of the best "new" releases around, along with Blind Date, i doubt this is a new recording, not because of the sound quality (which is great) but the overall song quality/attitude just screams "EARLY 90's" - essencial i'd say - oh yeah, they sound quite a bit like skid row

Sonic the Hedgehog has released an album!!!!. Fuck me! Are Knuckles and Tails on it as well? Is this 9 songs about running really fast and collecting rings? ;op

You're right, Paulo: infact the band formed in the mid-eighties and toured extensively throughout Canada under the name L.A. and built a large coast-to-coast following. They had development deals with Capitol Records, MCA/Universal and BMG also expressed interest in signing in the early '90s. The sound can be compared to bands such as Guns & Roses, Whitesnake and Skid Row, but the band must wait until now to release the material of the debut, with a new name (Sonic X).

This CD should be Huge. It's one of the best if not the Best releases of the year. These guys should be all over the Radio, I don't get it. I hear a 2nd CD will be out later this year, I can't wait for that one if it is anything like the first. Get this CD quick as these guys will break out big on their next release, they have to, they Rock way to Hard to stay small time.Rock on Sonic X, I hope you guys sell lots of Records.

I have just purchased this along with Fahrenheits Chain Reaction...Hard Rock is alive and this album is excellent. They are also getting alot of attention - this record is selling well which is promising, high recommended.

Wow! The first track, 'News For You' came on and I had to cup my balls because I thought it was going to crush them! Awesome opener, reminding me of Jester. 'City Of Sin' keeps the quality very high, 'Lonely heart' is another gem and 'Season's change' is a spectacular balladic number. Inbetween it's just gritty, well played and enjoyable hard rock like you don't hear that much of these days. I like this CD a lot. Recommended for hard rock fans, especially fans of stuff like Jester's debut.

This is one superb album, I love it. I hope they release more albums like this one. I rate this 9/10.

From: z4roxx Date: November 3, 2006 at 13:09
Wow!This is among my fave bands of last 10 years.Awesome melodick hard rock in the vein of Firehouse or last Danger Danger, unfortunately the production is only decent because I think this is demo material of middle 90’s pressed on cd on 2004???This cd is great from the beginning to the end,not a single filler moments and the beauty of”Season change”is incredible.10/10.
