I first heard these guys in 1999 when I bought their Wicked Man demo, now that song was STUNNING... the singer has a killer bluesy voice and the riff is so fat and chunky - so I waited anxiously for their album to be released. Sadly the album wasn't particularly strong... the re-recorded version of Wicked Man drops the cowbell, and no other songs really live up to its standard. Not a bad slab of heavy southern rock, but still a disappointment. 6.5/10 |

Ok, I'm surprised to se a what's considered by many as a "StonerRock" album on this site!! I'm a big AOR/Metal/Melodic..etc fan, but i like other styles too. Especially if it has heavy grooves like this CD does!! It's true, it is real southern fried stoner metal sound from these Swedish cats. The singer is abrasive and rough, but still freakin' cool! It fits this style! Both of the Guitar players are GREAT, full on riffs from hell. Now they are called "Odin Grange", not Odin Orange as mentioned |

That's my mistake on the Odin Orange, I read the name months back from this page http://www.ragingslab.com/data/messageboard.html when L'Orange first mentioned them on the post named 'News' dated Monday, June 21, 2004 at 16:33:39, never checked back to see that people had corrected him in the weeks/months that followed. Never even thought of these guys as stoner rock at all; I remember on their old mp3.com profile they used to boast their one and only influence was Zakk Wylde's Pride & Glory. |

Hey Aero Force, that's cool bro. I figured since it's being sold on Stonerrock.com and they have toured with other Stoner bands, I stated they were StonerRock. Plus the band is ok with that title. It really doesn't matter to me what they call it. I'd just assume "Boogie fried slab of southern hardrock" would be cool too! I have talked to the Guitarist in emails before. Last update I got is that their trying to get stuff recorded. He hasn't emailed for awhile. I guess they are workin hard!! |
