| Cool and subtle. Again..browny points for the lack of black Widows and/ or cod metal references. (see comments about Rough Cutt's first, terrible, album).Everything is tongue in cheek, here. Good, good, good.

| bueno , bueno bueno!! uno d mis grupos favoritos, q pedazos d magos/musicos, a cual mejor. 2 temas para mi gusto bestiales por encima del maravilloso resto;HAD ENOUGH Y ANYTHING FOR YOU. Q PUEDO DECIR? esto es magia placer,genialidad, encima en directo son la ostia, los e visto 2 veces en Barna, y me impactaron. es un grupo de super musicos, y encima con temas magistrales. mr big forever!!!

| The sagga begins!! Mr.Big is, together with TNT and Night Ranger, one of my favourite bands of all time. Their ST debut is a masterpiece. You won't find any fillers here, and songs like Addicted To That Rush, Take A Walk and Big Love are classics of the genre. Paul Gilbert shines, and the rest of the band does a great job, specially Eric Martin. This CD is the best way to you to introduce yourself into this awesome band.

| What a debut this album is! It's a grew on me since I bought it in 89 and wasn't too impressed, but as I said it elvolved. Know I think that it's more of a stayer than "Lean into it" which was a bigger success than this one

| One of those hugely highly rated albums that never did anything for me... unlike the ballad of a similar name. Yes, I like the two ballads and 'Rock n'roll over', but aside from that I can skip any of the other tracks, except 'How can you do what you do'. The rest however, I hate! Awful filler sounding tracks to these ears. 5/10

| Awesome debut & not a bad song to be found. These guys were good musicians and their songs are tight and polished (good production by Kevin Elson). For me, the stand out tracks were Addicted to that Rush, Had Enough, Big Love, and How Can You Do What you Do (co-written by Jonathan Cain.) This may not be Mr. Big's most commercially successful album, but it is probably their best IMO.

| lo primero y lo mejor de Mr.Big una banda infernal los duelos entre billy y paul las influencias el felling y por su puesto el hard rock que corre por sus venas yo por mi parte un 9,5 de 10 . Y por su puesto la participacion de Eric Martin un grande su modulacion sus tonos y el manejo del sentimiento condimento escencial para esta gran salsa . | Love 3 songs here---Addicted is great from a musician standpoint and rocks like all hell, Had Enough is a GREAT song and Anything For You is really good. I still like the album but agree that most songs are boring and filler. Eric has a fantastic voice---too bad it was over most of the blues/70's classic/boring songs.

| this is the real thing.big 89 hair metal masterpiece by mr big.eric martin is agreat singer and sang melodic hard rock when everybody listened heavy metal.we must stop pretending this is equal to bands of ourdays.admit it then was the golden era of hard rock.songs like "had enough","big love","anything for you","addicted to that rush" seem to be perfect.kevin elson in production does the job smoothly and mr big is born.we are addicted to mr big

| their first three studio releases are my faves by this band. this one has a great vibe, is well produced and you can hear it that these guys are talented. my faves: addicted to that rush, anything for you and rock n roll over.

Explosive debut of a band that for me consisted of "4 music wizards" making music "for the masses"...do i need to extend the positive adjectives???...damn no!!!...when you have one hell of a guitar player(Gilbert)one hell of a bass player(Sheehan)one hell of a vocalist(Martin) and...i don't know if one hell of a drummer but surely he is a very skilled one(Torpey)then nothing can possibly go wrong..."Addicted To That Rush","Had Enough"(wonderful song with an AOR feel),"How Can You Do What You Do","Anything For You"(nice ballad),"Rock And Roll Over" & "Thirty Days In The Whole"(Humble Pie cover)are my faves and probably or most likely of many people too...enjoyable...90/100

| Really good cd, although I do find their 2nd to be my favorite. Big Love Is my favorite from this cd,other good ones-Addicted to that rush, How Can You Do, Anything For You, Take A Walk, & Had Enough. I recommend.

| Overall, harder and better than the band's breakout followup Lean Into It. The fun begins with the minor MTV Hard 30 hit "Addicted To That Rush," and continues from there. Nothing groundbreaking at all, but a fun listen, like the Van Hagar record Van Hagar never recorded. I mean that literally, as Eric Martin apes Hagar throughout, and Paul Gilbert blatantly copies Eddie's late-'80's guitar tone and style on every single song. I mean, he makes no attempt to hide his obvious Eddie worship.

| I mean, the only thing missing is that weird drum sound that Alex, and Alex alone, uses. To make up for it, Mr. Big offers up Billy Sheehan, noodling all over the bass.

| If there were an album that defined average, this would be it. From the boring opener, Addicted to that Rush, to Take A Walk, the songs are completely fogettable, hookless wonders and it doesn't help that Eric Martin sounds a lot like Jeff Keith. The one track I can take away from this is Had Enough. I guess I've never been "big" on Mr. Big.
