| This was a good album by Mr. Big, but a little mellower than their first two. I have to admit that I prefer them with Paul Gilbert rather than their new guitarist. Paul was awesome and played just what was needed for the song. A very good CD, but a little mellower.

| Aaahh, buying this cd the day it came out, driving over to Katie's house, sunny day.... May have the best songs of any Mr. Big album and the ballads here are just outstanding!!! Didn't stand a chance though coming out in 96' and is one of those albums that deserves a second listen to now. Man how many great albums of this genre came out & just died in this era of grunge & alternative?? This is one of them and if you check it out lucky for you.

| great CD, very pop-oriented with a great misicianship.. anyway, there are not fast hard rock song like "Addicted" or "Daddy.." in this CD..

| Decent album. "Trapped in Toyland" I believe was written about Rob Halford(the guitarist who had just quit Halford's band FIGHT co-wrote the song). They get points for not trying to sound alternative in 96 when a lot of other bands did.

| TAKE COVER es una autentica pasada. por supuesto, q como sus 2 primeras obras d arte, nanai, eso no se puede superar(al menos pa mi) pero aqui todavia, se nota lo grandes q eran. Lastima q el grupo haya desaparecido. Para mi siempre seran uno de los mas "grandes"

| I too was disappointed by this, I just bought it for $1.99 at a used CD store and I'm not sure it should be valued quite that highly. It's not like it was reall bad or anything, the musicianship is there, the vocals are great, it just sounds uninspired.

| Hey Man is a pretty decent effort from the guys. The songwriting here is awesome, but they loose a little of power, including the master Paul Gilbert. Take Cover, Out Of The Underground and Jane Doe are the best tracks. There is, of course, a japanese bonus track called Tears, an acoustic and very sentimental ballad, and some editions around the world includes another bonus track called My Big Mistake. I really believe this album worth the money i paid for it, but is not essencial.

| This CD has some of the worst songs I've ever heard, but amongst the trash are a few gems like 'Going where the wind blows' and 'The chain'. Both very nice peices of balladic rock, but it is undoubtedly 'Take cover' which makes this album worthwhile. Easily one of the best Mr Big songs recorded and easily worth the price alone. Aside from those three songs, IMO the rest is absolute shit.

| i m not surprised that most poeple don t like this !i guess it needs some spins before you come to a safe conclusion.for me "hey man" is a great piece of hard rock music and a classic MR BIG release.all the basic elements of their sound are still there and again i find some great tunes and melodies.of course it s a bit mellow as most of that day releases after the big party ended,butthere is plenty of talent and quality.essential release in my book

Decent album to me...everything has been explained or said above so the only thing i'm adding is that this album was recorded in a year where music,especially Hard Rock,was a bit(not to say a lot!)"destroyed" by all this "grunge" thing that flourished around at that stage...probably it did some effect on Mr Big,the songs were not orientated onto that direction,thank God,but they went mellower with it...only 2 songs i can recall as outstanding(at least to me)and those are "Take Cover" & "Goin' Where The Wind Blows"(nice)...'nuff said...my rate is 80/100

| Alternative rock really ruled hard rock in 1996, but some acts of the more traditional approach still released fine records. Mr Big, unfairly maligned as a one hit wonder, released a great album that was my favourite of this form of music in 1996. Listen with great appreciation to the standout song "Take Cover".
