This cd is incredible. His voice reminds me of Jim Capaldi or Steve Winwood. The production is really fine. The sound is like the sound on Geoff Moore & The Distance "Foundations". Anyway we're talking westcoast music, and the songs are really laidback, but beautiful! |

This release by Paul Brady is like a mix of Westcoast AOR ala Martin Page with a bit of a country & southern feel ala 38 Special...good moments?,some..."Soul Child","Nobody Knows"(nice & smooth),"Can't Stop Wanting You"(38 Special by the 4 sides!),"You And I","Don't Keep Pretending" & "Love Goes On"(another piece of smoothness)...pleasant rather than essential is my appreciation...90/100 |

Westcoast oriented Pop Rock, all tracks are super long for my taste. Nobody Knows is a highlight, one of those which are obvious just listening to them once. Some of the tunes are pretty good, but they seem to be missing something to be winners. Solid Love reminds me of Toto in passages. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: Nobody Knows. |
