I really rate this album.Thirteen tracks of what seems to have been a blast producing.Every track captures a bit of fun, which is what it's all about, and some stay lodged in the head and won't leave,The Race Is On,Message Of Love and Big Bang being obvious candidates. If you want a feel-good album and don't want to be too critical, this'll do !!!!!! |

ageed Wolfy, I read articles and heard this was like a poppy/glam melodic/aor/rock thing, hahahaha, never heard the other ones, but this is a cool one, like Wolfy said, nothing too serious, just a feel good album, The Race is On is a great song among many others. Now to find the older ones!!! |

Like i wrote earlier. If you like good solid party feel good rockmusic then this is it. Sha-Boom delivers again big time. Loved the earlier releases and this matches maybe even tops them at some moments. Goooooooooooooood ! |

A good deal heavier than their previous stuff this, and it reminds me of EVENRUDE and RETURN'S "V" quite a lot. Despite the so-so vocals this is a very good collection of Scandi AOR/MHR, with "My Home Town" and "22nd of October" being my faves. It does have it's fillers, but there are some very catchy tunes on here and it's well worth getting. 8/10. |

I usually, take my time before commenting on a disc, but this one has made an instant impact, so i'll break my golden rule. I always found their other releases way to Poppy and a bit on the corny side to really appreciate, but this, with it's slightly tougher sound is a whole lot better. Ok, nothing groundbreaking here, but it does have instantly catchy hooks a plenty, which is why it is so easy to listen too and leaves a big smile on the old face. The Scandies do it yet again. |

If there was ever a definition of FUN, these guys hit the nail on the head! Just really fun, upbeat, feel-good tracks. With all the depressing stuff that's out there today, these guys are definitely a breath of fresh air! |

'Into the fire','Get the party started' & 'Big bang' all touch on the Sha-Boom of old and I hate each of them- but they're the only 3 fillers on the whole disc! The other 10 tracks range from great to awesome. I think this is MUCH better than previous Sha-Boom CDs and 'Why did I' is one of my faves of the year. Killer song. Other faves are 'Somewhere In The Dark','My Home Town','22nd Of October','Message Of Love','Here I Am','This Is My Life'. Great disc, hugely recommended for melodic rock fans |

GOOD CD 85/100 between RETURN/BAM BAM BOYS/EVENRUDE/DA VINCI with a lot of guest very fresh and Obviously essential if you like big sing along chorus SCANDI MELODIC ROCK/HAIR/PARTY/POP METAL |
From: BIG-TIME | Date: August 13, 2008 at 10:41 |
For me this sounds like Mcfly or that other similar band and is a bit to modern for me. Yes this is feel good stuff but is your VERY average hard rock nothing special at all. Tracks 2 my fav, 5 has a Def Leppard sound and feel, 9 sounds like Scorpions and 12 which I like too, has a late 80's feel but just doesn't hit the mark. Defo a none essential for true 80's fan like the usual stuff, remember it's 2005 so if your into your rock past 1998 this is for you...me i'll stick to the stuff im into...KEEP ROCKIN 80's STYLE ALL!!! |

Fans of instantly catchy, upbeat melodic rock with hooky sing-along choruses and oodles of stacked harmonies will probably shout this album's praises so loud that people might think they heard a sonic boom. The Scandis knocked it out of the park again with this one by toughening up the poppier edge the band sported in the past and just drenching the whole album in everything melodic rock fans crave. If you don't have this one in your collection, you should race to the nearest online vendor and order a copy, because you've been missing out on some high quality stuff the last 7 years. Is this the most awesome album of all time? No...but it still deserves a place on your shelf. |
