If you notice that a particular New York Dolls CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Absolutely awful production on this record, but for the most part continues in the same direction as the first album. A bit more experimenting, which sadly makes the whole product feeling a little less complete, but tracks like 'Human Being' are pure sleaze anthems over 30 years later. Opener 'Babylon' is a fun rocker, though I personally feel it was bettered by Shotgun Messiah's cover (especially their rewritten solo and chunkier riffing)... but still a quality lesson in history. 7/10

I actually discovered this disc first before checking out their debut. I love this disc but it will always wrongly be compared to their classic debut. Cool mix of punk/glam/50's girl band thing going on. Love "Puss'N'Boots" and "Bad Detective" but the rest is great too. Like a lot of my favorite discs these guys sound like they could give a flying f#@k what you thought of them. Johansen/Thunders were such a killer frontman/guitarist duo too. Worth checking out as much as the debut!

I like this album more than their debut. Bad Detective, Babylon, Who Are the Mystery Girls? and Puss 'N' Boots are cool songs. By the way, anybody knows who's written song "Bad Detective"? Can't find credits for this song and i think the guys have just covered it.
