Oh the high hopes I had for these guys! Unfortunately these hopes were crushed instantly because of a lead singer who leaves much to be desired. Harsh voice, but more than that he does not seem to strive for available hooks on offer and his approach sounds a little bored and the music is left decent but not well backed up. Pretty cool hard rock, but very lacklustre, IMO. |

Even if you're a devout melodic metal fan, odds are this CD won't put a choke-hold on your eardrums or spend much time in your stereo. If the best melodic HR bands are like 6-lane superhighways, Cholane is more like a bicycle path, serviceable, but nothing more. The singer is pretty rough, and there will probably be some listeners out there that would rather be kicked in the teeth by a rabid stallion than have this guy's voice invade their ears. Bottom line, this is blah, uninspiring hard rock. |

Sorry guys but i partially disagree with the negative comments above, the harsh/rough voice of Wulfes do not bother me at all and the excellent HardRock/Heavy music here is really good. Listen killer songs like "Masters And Slave" and you´ll see, or the power ballad "Anymore" my favs. i like "Better Believe In Me" "Fall Of The Sinners" "One Day You'll Know" and "Losing Control" as well. Wow.. two live tracks and covers as bonus! Classics like "Fool For Your Lovin'" and "Kill the King" do you wan |

First couple of tracks is really average, but from track 4 the albums gets really enjoyable! The singer has this harsh german accent, but he's not that bad as some suggest. If you like the Astral Doors singer you will probably like this guy too. The music is late 80's commercial heavy metal, like Accept's ''Eat the heat'' with better songs though. |

This Album is really great!Shouter recalls me sometimes to Ted Bullet from Thunderhead with a Touch of Paul Sabu....Music is in Style of Accept´s"Eat the Heat" Bonfire´s "Strike Ten"....very great guitars!!!A must have for every Hairmetalfan about beginning of the 90´s.....!!!! |
