Yes, this album is much more metal but the songs are not very good in my opinion. Not a bad album for 97 but still not a kicking ass cd.

The cranking guitars & kick-yer-teeth-in attitude may get your blood pumping, but the lack of great hooks will slow it down some. A solid CD that could've been much better with improved songwriting. Still, these guys annihilate a good chunk of the competition and fans of aggressive hard rock should find themselves at least semi-satisfied. Bottom line, not the best, not the worst. Should somewhat appeal to fans of Defyance, Kreyson, High voltage, and bands of that ilk.

Just listened to this for the first time today. Likely the last time, too. The singer's voice is as grating as fingernails on a chalkboard and the lyrics are pure, juvenile rubbish. The music is droning and nothing leaps out at you - picture a much better band dialing it up on autopilot. Of all the tracks, Chosen Few has a spark, but a dim one at that. Recommended for insomniacs only.

very good release for ADRENALIN KICK in the mid 90s choosing an updated heavy grunge sound trying to express anger and overall going with the flow leaving their hard rock debut aside !you ll find some good riffs and lines ,fine guitar work and some good songs but on the other hand nothing really great !good stuff for sure
