Danish label but the names are Swedish sounding...Don't know the band though...Only Danish band called BLACK ROSE I know of is the one in which King Diamond sang... |

Nice melodic rock. Production is a bit weak but I like the vocals, keyboards and strong melodies. With the exception of Line Up, the best release from the Danish BUMS label. 8/10 |

Yep, the band is definitely Swedish. They also released 2 albums on Shark Records: Black Rose (2002), Explode (2004). VERY great albums, with great songs and sound. Buy if you find them! |

Black Rose are one of my favorite Swedish Melodic Rock bands. I've spoken with drummer Peter Haga a number of times and he is a stand up fellow who I've found to be extremely friendly and helpful in my collecting. Besides being a great bunch of guys, this band plays some excellent melodic rock in the vein of TREAT, DaVINCI and heavier HEAVEN. There's loads of great keyboards throughout with crunching guitar work and excellent vocals that is filled with those great harmonies we love in melodic rock. This particular CD came out in 1993 on the Bums Record Label and in my humble opinion is well worth acquiring for your collection. |
