This wasn't a bad tribute to Aerosmith. I like the Same 'Ol Song And Dance tribute much better. It's still worth listening to just to hear Steve Blaze from Lillian Axe play. |

Reno, Steve Blaze is great! You say that the other tribute album is better, but is the cover of that album as good lookin' as this one? |
From: jason (FA - Q) | Date: June 19, 2002 at 21:26 |
I give this album a 10 just for the cover alone!! |
From: T-BONE | Date: June 20, 2002 at 2:35 |
jason, I also have the other Aerosmith tribute cd called Not The Same Ol' Song N' Dance. There's a cow on the cover, so this cover pretty much beats it out. Jack Blades and Tommy Shaw do Sweet Emotion. It's the best tribute on the cd in my opinion. Other Good ones are Mark Slaughter doing Back In The Sddle and Vince Neil doing Chip Away, and Ronnie James Dio doing Dream On. The worst was Fee Waybill of the Tubes doing Walk This Way. The cd is a very good tribute for the most part. |

Damn.......Sorry. This must have slipped my mind. |
From: Gar | Date: February 16, 2003 at 21:44 |
Straightfoward remakes. The album cover is great, but the track and lineup listing on the back is terrible. You can barely read it. |

Gar, I agree... Perris Records has a tendency to make a mess of their inserts. You can't even tell what's on the "free" CD! I just got it so I haven't heard it yet. Anyone have any favorites on it?? |
From: CC | Date: August 1, 2004 at 9:35 |
Really didnt like this one.........prefered Not the same old song & dance,by a million miles! |

Man... this sucks. I already owned the One Way Street and Not the Same Old Song And Dance tributes, and those two are really good... but this is utter crap. The production is flat and lifeless, most of the vocalists sound like absolute hell... and overall, the performances sound amateur at best. Considering the great talent on here, I can't believe how bad the final product is... I wish I'd never bought this. Get One Way Street or Not the Same Old Song and Dance instead. 3/10 |
